OK CHAT, I’M NEARLY DONE WITH THE GACHIAKUTA ANIME AND I HAVE A THEORY ITS A BIT OF A STRETCH BUT HEAR ME OUT.
THEORY: THESE TWO ARE THE SAME PERSON, OR TAMSY IS AN ANGEL/ OR THEY HAVE SOME RELATION TO EACHOTHER:
Ok ok, first, I noticed the one too many color palette similarities.
I color picked from him, his vital instrument and his mask, then compared it to masked angel guy, AND WOULDN'T YOU KNOW IT.
Five. FIVE MATCHING COLORS OUT OF A MOSTLY BEIGE DESIGN (ON BOTH ENDS)
Tamsy’s Vital Instrument is a sewing tool, with greyish silver thread (Atleast in the image I could find, but i'm pretty sure is from a splash art?)
Now tell me, where do you think the second image is from, and happens to be in darker lighting which, as we see in the shading, would make it look dark grey?
Next off: The eye markings around the mask, compared to Tamsy’s birthmark (or scar? Idk)
Maybe its just me, but compare it to the mask and tell me it doesn't look the mask designer saw Tamsy’s mark and split it in two for the design itself, like just moved it around to be over the eyes.
CONTINUING ONTO THE MORE PERSONALITY / BEHAVIOR.
First off, atleast to me, Tamsy comes off as...idk how to word it but like fake as shit?
I've only watched the dub of the anime so far, so l don't know if this tone stuff im seeing carries over to the original/sub or the manga?
But, to be blunt, his behavior and tone immediately struck me as strange and offputting.
Not just in one scene, but like every single one he's been in.
For example, during the Amo situation, he stayed calm, but too calm, yk?
Rudo was having a full on breakdown, Enjin was basically on the floor slowly becoming a water balloon, Sprinkler Passion guy (forgot his name), THE BIGGEST AND BEEFIEST + CAPABLE OF HYDRATING SOMEONE TO DEATH, and LADY WITH GIANT SCISSORS, had both, with zero expl, joined the op, and Zanka was uh... mildly losing his composure (which is not all that unusual actually.)
Yet Tamsy just....stood there? For like a solid while?
The reason I point this out is his vital instrument almost perfectly tailored (heh) to restraining and restricting the opponents movement.
With Rudo in the corner, pretty obviously mentally going through it out of nowhere, that should have been a massive red flag that he was going to be fan no.2, so why didn’t he restrain him? For that matter, why not immediately restrain Amo, Rudo and the gardener guy from the get go?
You can't convince me that he was focused on Amo and didn't notice because of it. Rudo not throwing hands at that moment was a red flag in it of itself. Considering they’re in a room with a shitload of broken items in his Rudos vicinity, thats a huge risk if he turncoats.
So why didn’t Tamsy do anything? I’ll give Zanka a pass, since his staff isn’t exactly the greatest piece for this specific situation., but Tamsy could of definitely deescalated this by restraining Amo the second she got the gardener on her side.
It wouldn’t be unfair to do so, and probably more logical, as she’d already proven herself a threat, and the more time they gave her without knowing what her ability was, the more time she had to get them on her side.
Additionally, as Zanka points out, Tamsy had absolutely no issue with nearly killing the entire group, gambling on Remlins Spell activating in time for them to quite literally not die from a several story fall plus damage from the rubble.
You may call it nonchalant, I call it suspicious as shit.
