the grinch is fucked up right. he was created specifically as a critique of the commercialization of christmas, but now all his edge has been sanded off. now he's a generic mascot for "hates christmas," which is great to have because the commercialization of christmas has become so overbearing that that's a demographic you can market to! and now he's just part of the Christmas Fold. he's santa's edgier joker counterpart. he has become the very thing he sought to destroy. back in november i checked out a customer with a $1100 order and most of it was grinch merchandise

nov 6 is my 1 year anniversary of my running journey 🥹🏃🏽‍♀️

2 races away from my NYC Marathon entry for 2026. 😳

locked in guaranteed entry for the NYC United Half.

1 race away from doing the BK Half again

i already miss spring / summer run season.

but after hitting my first ever 12 min mile yesterday (!!!!!) i am locking THEEE FUCK IN.

6 more races til that 6 star, baby.

2026 is going to be a phenomenal year for my journey. i feel it!

cardiac ICU day 4. took a nap with my airpods on with noise cancellation, woke up to my day nurse shaking me, my monitor screaming because my heart was in VTach, another nurse ripping off my gown AGAIN to throw on crash pads, and a group of 5 doctors staring at me
