She couldn’t have been happier to hear that things had been going well for her old friend. But when the questions were thrown back at her, she tilted her head back and forth a couple times with her lips tugged up in a little smile. “I’ve been alright! Still an unemployed bum, but I’m working on that-” she giggled softly, “Things were kind of rough for a while but they’re getting better now~” she smiled and nodded, hugging Sojung again. “That’s great! I’m sure my parents will be so happy to see you again! And we also got a little kitty that you can meet~ I’ll let you get your coffee though!” Yebin chuckled, taking a sip from her own cup.
sojung nodded, her smile growing a bit smaller but still dancing on her lips. she reached over & grabbed the cup of iced coffee that had been waiting for her to take. now that she had what she came for, she turned back to her old friend. she took a sip of her drink before she continued talking.
❝ you got a kitty? ❞ yes, that was close to a squeal. ❝ what’s its name? oh, i’m excited to see your family too! i’ll probably have to hug them all for, like, five minutes, ❞ she spoke quickly, accompanying this all with a short, light laugh. ❝ & about that job, the restaurant i work at actually is hiring. you should check it out. it’s a nice little job, good pay and nice benefits too, if i can brag a bit. ❞ she nods, nudging her friend very gently with her elbow, not enough to hurt her, but just to give her a small nudge.
