Hunter. Not the typical sort of mission for the man given, he’d been more an adventurer and wandering for that sense of excitement. Rather, no, he sets himself up to hunt a man that seethes blight and terror on the seas. She’s given him time to respond, and then she surprised him with Jim nodding his head, “You seem so certain.” His gather had left them, but even he can’t recall hating the man enough to want to kill him.

Angelica looked at him. "If you are surprised that I have no empathy for that man, you shouldn't be. He treated me as if I was a prize to barter off to any man he wanted something from. He used me, and let others use me. He tortured me, beat me, and many times threatened to kill me, sometimes leaving me to possibly die, had it not been for one kind man on his ship, whom he then killed when he found out he was helping me." She said. "That man may be my Father. But I assure you, it is by blood only. I have no feelings, no care for him. Like he had none for me." She said. "I want that man dead, so that I may finally live in peace, rather than the fear that he will find me, and take me again."

Benedict smiled wide as if you were a young boy on Christmas morning. He just adored her he loved her he adored her he wanted to spend his entire life just making her smile and laugh and watch her as her eyes lit up. He would do anything for that it would have worst anything. He was grateful that he wouldn't lose his family. But for Sophie to be his wife to be the person he got to share his life with he would do anything for her.

Sophie hummed contently and lent into him, her head resting on his chest, her fingers entwined with his, her ear pressed to where she could hear and feel his heart beating. "Benedict. You are the only man I would ever want to share a marital bed with. You are the only man I would ever dream of having me in a way no other man will ever have me." She said, her eyes closing as she just listened to his heart beating.

"Not long now. Soon we will be off to the cottage, and we will be married, and we will be husband and wife. And your family, and the people I see as my family will be there, watching us promise to be each others for the rest of our lives." She said softly.

She lift her head and looked up at him again. "And I love them. I have the moment I met them. Just as I loved you the moment I met you." She told him softly.

She reached up and pressed her lips lightly to his "You are my dream come true Benedict Bridgerton. A dream I had longed for, for as long as I can remember. A dream to be seen, and heard, and loved, and accepted." She told him. "Sometimes I have to pinch myself to really remember that this is not all some dream, but real. That I have found the love of my life." She smiled.

Anthony understood probably better than anyone how she felt. When his father died he just knew he could never outlive him he could never move as long as his father. How could he, when his father was the greatest man he'd ever known and he had died so young who is Anthony nobody. 

So he resigned to a life of loneliness. He would marry of course because he was expected to but it would not be for love he was sure of that. And then he met Kate and suddenly everything was out of his control. He felt so deeply in love with her that even if he did die young he knew that his life would have more purpose and more joy than anyone else's because he had her.

Kate felt a swell in her chest, a flutter that she had never felt before. She knew it was love. Knew that it was because of this man in front of her.

She had never felt like this, never thought this feeling was possible. It was so much more than she had ever felt in her life. Every emotion was heightened, ever sense was enhanced. The touch of his lips on her fingers felt like it could move mountains.

"Well, I wish for you to always be by my side, wish to have you always with me, but I know that isn't going to always be possible." She breathed.

She then took a breath. Was it strange that she felt as soon as they would part, she would feel she was missing part of herself? But thats what it was feeling like, knowing they would have to soon be separated while she talks to her sister. That she was having a part of her torn away from her. "I hate to leave." She admitted.

"Follow my lead? My Love, I have no experience prior to you regarding those things. Trust me, I was most certainly following your lead." She blushed and chuckled a little. She hummed at the touch on her jaw. His touched was the most beautiful thing she could ever feel... of course, when he wasn't doing certain things to her. Then they were definitely the most beautiful thing.

She blushed more at his words "I look forward to you proving it to me for the rest of our lives my love." She whispered.

Katri never believed she would find love. She had come to a point where she believed she would forever be a puppet of her fathers. But when she met Bash, everything in her life, every care, every fear, all melted. And she loved that he felt that too. "Only this. Only Us." She agreed.

She let out a little chuckle "Bash, You are the reason I have strength and Fire. You are the reason I am the way I am. I had no reason to have those things before you came into my life, no reason to fight, or stand up against my father. But you gave me reason." She smiled. "So you clearly only have yourself to thank." She teased.

Sebastian let out a soft breath of laughter. “Then I suppose I’ve created something formidable,” he said, a hint of pride threading through his voice. “A woman who can bring kings to their knees. And yet chooses me.”

His thumb traced slow, absent patterns against her side. “Do not give me all the credit, Katri,” he added more gently. “That strength was always yours. I merely reminded you it existed.” He tilted his head slightly “And your father?” he continued. “He does not own you. Not your choices, not your heart. That belongs to you. And whatever part of it you choose to give me… I will guard it with everything I am.”

A small, playful smile returned to his lips. “Though I admit,” he murmured, leaning closer again, “if this is the result of following my lead, I may have to continue guiding you just a little longer.”

She laughed with him, wrapping around him a little more, her eyes on his as her fingers stroked up and down his arm. "Why would I want to bring a King to his knees? Why would I choose a King, and power, when I can have Love. Real Love." She breathed. "That is all I want. You." She said softly.

She hummed as his thumb stroked her warm bare skin. His touch brought her a comfort she hadn't felt in many years. A light blush rose on her pale cheeks at his comment. He knew exactly what to say to make her burn inside with a reason to keep on. "I give you every part of me Bash. My Mind, Body, Soul. My Heart." She breathed. "That part especially is for you." She smiled.

Her blush turned more red and she buried her head in his chest. "I will let you guide me anywhere. I think from what we just did, that is very evident." She giggled into his chest.

When she finally lift it again, she looked into his eyes. "My future now, it revolves around you. Everything we face, we face together. I love you Bash."

He nodded, although he had said goodbye, when he boarded the train. He was stubborn and bit of a brat, and he didn't say goodbye in a earnest voice. That was what he regretted. Would he ever see his mother again? Did his father live? Would he ever feel their embrace again? He wasn't sure. He did not want to admit that he would give up everything just to have a hug from his parents. He did not want to say this in from of this young women, as far as he knew his parents were alive, but her father was dead ❝i hold onto to hope I will see them again. I am blessed to have my siblings too❞ he smiled a little 

He smiled ❝i’d like that. I enjoy a good celebration❞ but then added ❝but it was the soilders, I was more there❞ yes he fought with them, but his soilders were the real reason for the freedoms

"I hope for you that you see them again too. But at the same time, I will mourn if you were to leave Narnia." She said softly, her eyes on his, a small smile on her lips. "I have never been blessed with Siblings." She told him. She had always been an only child... and now, she was just alone.

"Do not diminish your actions out there King Edmond." She told him. "You fought as well as any other man out there, and they are more than welcomed to join the celebration also, you will just be my special guest." She smiled.

"Oh Good, Let me just inform the kitchens, and then while they prepare and get the word out, we shall explore." She suggested.

Ordained by god. Cursed that wife butcher who had split the faith. Power was centred amongst kings, but the threats to the faith were growing, and a power was needed to secure the lands safe for Christians so they might one day march and take back the holy lands.

Still, the man bit his lip but allowed her to proceed as he tilted his head, “Scotland a separate kingdom, England my kingdom, just how might our heirs rule without going to war?” Testing her tact now, as he thought, it would be nice to not have to fight the north.

"If you were to take my Scotland, would you not be King of Both Scotland and England?" She asked. "Surely if I kept my throne, and you rule upon the English throne, we would rule both... together. and any Heir we had would be a ruler to both, uniting the Kingdoms, it would go to the oldest, and they would be King... or Queen of Both England and Scotland. Is that not what has been wanted for quite some time now?" She asked.

"There would be no war, there would be peace, with one ruler, one who would be born to an English King, and a Scottish Queen." She told him.

however they are alone now, finally could be the newly weds they were. everyone always talked about them needing to produce an heir, but never gave them a chance. while he would make love to his wife no matter what, because he loved her, it was still a silly thing to realize.

Mary moaned as his lips touched her neck and kissed over the sensitive skin. Her eyes fluttered closed, her hands brushing over his chest, a soft whimper escaping her lips.

She gasped and smiled more as he lift her with ease and placed her on his lap.

Her fingers pushed into his curls, lifting his head so she could kiss his lips again. "I am right here my love. You do not need to miss me. I am yours to have whenever you wish, I am here, as your wife for all of eternity."

She moved her hips against him, pulling her skirts up and out of the way, wanting nothing to keep them apart. Her kiss became more hungry, more needy.

With every footstep it felt like each muscle that had to be used to move his body ached. Knight training had been extra tough today, and he had a dent in the helmet tucked under his arm to prove it. Unfortunately for him he only had one suit of armour, so the helmet as needed to be fixed asap. Vincent doubted the meagre amount of money that jangled in his pocket would be enough to cover the mend, but he was hoping a promise to the pay the extra after the next tournament would work. He hesitated outside the Blacksmith's with a decent reputation, wondering if he'd be laughed out of the shop, then took a deep breath to steady his nerves and walked inside. "Excuse me? Hello?"

She had managed to convince her father to lay down and rest. His health hadn't been the best lately, and while he continued to work, it meant he wasn't getting any better. She had insisted on helping out when he can, despite being also called to the castle to help as a Ladies Maid. Luckily her time at the castle wasn't too much at the moment, but it would mean a better future for her... apparently. If she were honest, she preferred being here, at the smithy, working with her hands, manipulating the metal she worked with, and many knew her work already, knew she was skilled. After all, she was trained by the best. Her Father.

She was just finishing up with the tidying, ready to close for the day when she head a voice. She turned quickly, the first thing she noticed was the blue of his eyes.

"Oh.. Hello. Can I help?" She asked.

Sebastian’s breath caught at her words. For a man who had lived much of his life feeling second to a crown he would never wear, to expectations he would never meet, her devotion felt like something sacred. He lifted his hand to cradle her face, his thumb brushing softly over the blush in her cheeks. “Do you know,” he murmured, “how dangerous it is to tell a man like me that he is needed? I have spent years believing I must stand alone. That it was safer for everyone that way.”

He drew her closer, until there was no space between them at all. “But you ... you make me want to build something instead of run from it. You make me believe I could be more than the king’s shadow.” His hand slipped from her cheek to her waist, holding her there as though she might vanish if he loosened his grip. “When you step into the light, Katri, it will not be mine you stand in, it will be your own. I will simply stand beside you.”

Katri looked into his eyes and then chuckled at his words "It is far less dangerous than it is to tell a woman, who has never had anyone in her life that cares about her, to tell her that you choose her." She smiled at him. "It seems we will start a dangerous road together. But it is a path I want to be on." She whispered.

As he pulled her closer, she made no attempt to stop him, she wanted to be as close as possible, because in his arms, in his presence, she felt free. She shook her head a little "It is both our light Bash. My light would not exist without you." She said softly. "You are more than the Kings shadow. You are a wonderful, amazing man, who makes the light of the sun seem dim." She assured him.

Aramis could’ve just made an excuse that he had gotten caught up in a moment with the queen at that convent. That he gave into lust and now there was consequences, but that would be a lie. He has fallen in love with her, her bravery, her spirit, her beauty. Everything Anne was, he loved. He stopped denying that fact, not caught up. He loved her and his son, and while he was a musketeer, loyalty to the crown, in the end he would give it all just for a moment with anne and their son 

He nodded ❝i promise, if you or Louis or both are in trouble, we shall leave. My loyalty will always be to you and louis. You will always come first❞ he held her hands and looked deep into her eyes, the eyes that made him feel both stronger than ever and also weak because he would do anything for just one look from those eyes.

She released a breath she hadn't realised she had been holding and gave him a small smile, her eyes never leaving his. She wished they could just be them, together, raising their son, as a family, as she had always wanted. She didn't know she would fall in love with a musketeer, but her whole life, she had wanted love, and a family, a simple life, but she also knew from a young age that that was just a dream, something she could never have.

But maybe... just maybe, one day, she would have that with Aramis.

She lent in, raising onto her toes to press her lips lightly to his. "Thank you." She breathed. "Just know, my heart, my soul, my whole being, is yours Aramis." She said softly. "Always." She smiled at him. "You are my dream come true. The one thing I never thought I would have. A great Love. You are it, and you always will be."

The men of the sea were a mix of educated and non-educated; he was educated, but all those words failed him there. 

The man was opting to rely on time, although that often meant inciting panic in his body. Therre was a disadvantage in this display and the woman seemed to use all those feminine charms against him.

“ I’m not going to get killed by your father.”

She watched him, waiting for words to leave his mouth, but clearly he was at a loss, and it amused her. A small smirk graced her lips as she waited. Just as she thinks about opening her mouth to tease him, he opened his and she raised a brow.

"I should hope you aren't going to get killed by my Father. He had done enough, someone needs to run him through with a sword and rid the world of his vileness." She told him.

D’artagnan knew she was probably right. She was very well spoken, very perceptive, and seemed to understand a lot about people and their behavior. He admired her ability to know people. He often felt like he couldn't really read people. He spent most of his life on his fathers farm, and didn't have much experience with people outside of a few. So he wasn't good at reading people ❝i promise not to ever do that.❞ he smiled and laughed a little, but his words were true. 

D’artagnan looked at her, again perceptive Rosalind struck again. But one question still pained him ❝how do I know what my purpose is? How do I make the right choice? ❞

The Woman smiled at him as he said he promised not to ever do that. "Good." She breathed softly, her fingertips lightly stroking the back of his hand.

Rosalind looked into his eyes at his question "Sometimes it takes a while to figure out ones purpose." She breathed. "Sometimes we don't realise it till we are doing it for a while. Which is why you shouldn't give up. If your path has led you to being in this position, maybe there is a reason, and maybe it will take one act, one defining moment to realise it is your purpose." She said. "There is no wrong, or right to start, and there is no failure if you have tried." She told him.

"Personally, we could use a very good looking Musketeer, and that is you." She then smiled, chuckling a little. "Do not think too hard on it yet, let your life play out a little first, let it guide you."

Vincent hadn't seen her face, but he thought he recognised the gait. It wasn't a lot to go on, but then a few faint trails of perfume she left in her wake left him reached his nose and left the young knight with a gut feeling that it was Princess Seraphina creeping out of the castle. Really he should call his commander, but he was curious about where she was going; so (believing he was well trained enough to handle any trouble that might cross their paths) instead of stopping her curiosity made him follow her at a slight distance.

Seraphina was used to slipping out of the castle late at night now. She didn't do it every night, usually only once or twice a week, she would get any scraps of food, a few herbs to make ointments and poultices to help any injured or sick people, and then take the secret passages out of the castle and head out to the village, to the poor, and would help them.

She always laughed off when people said she looked like the Princess, telling them that she wished, but she was just there to help. Thats all she wanted to do, help those that needed it.

As she walked down the small dark paths, she noticed a figure up ahead, laying on the ground. Her need to help others got the better of her and she moved quickly towards them, asking if they needed help, but in a flash he had his arm, holding her, threatening her, asking to give him everything she had.
