A few of the mockups and user flows I created for various projects on Vibes' professional services team (Mobile Solutions Group). These were critical in ensuring designers, developers, and client services were all working towards exactly the same goal. I taught myself how to do these kinds of things on side-projects, so I never bought stand-alone software for mockups—these are all created in Pages.
Designed a monthly mobile offer 'newsletter' page for an ongoing content marketing strategy, to roll out Q3 2014. I worked with HP and their UX and brand guidelines for over a year on other projects, mostly launching hundreds of mobile product pages for a retail QR-code program. This image is from the final presentation within the clients global mobile marketing team.
Early mockups of a responsive design for a cannabis distribution company. As the legal cannabis industry is just beginning in Washington, I started building this marketplace to help local farmers reach more retailers and manage their brand and inventory.
I actually built a working prototype, which included a lot of the functionality of creating different accounts and types, managing inventory and profiles, and design touches like dynamic hero images and profile blocks, but then lost the MySQL database and Drupal install. So all I currently have to show for it are these mockups.
I completely owned this FS document; creating the user flows and mockups as well as writing the plan and technical functionality. This was used to build a pilot of HTML5 WebStorage for loading product information into the Compare pages, but the project was denied as managing and hosting the tool was beyond the clients preferred budget. In taking ownership of DataSphere's coupon syndication API, there was almost no useful documentation for new partners to implement this platform. So I put this together. (Shared with Dropbox)
Basic concept for local produce subscription company. I wanted to build a one-page site to test the idea, as well as some front-end tricks like scroll-spying and an updating crowd-funding progress bar. Still live on App Engine at microfarmery.appspot.com
There was very little in place to help my team troubleshoot coupon syndication issues. So I designed and wrote a spec for a tool to allow customer service reps to troubleshoot, rather than engineers. Just type in a customer ID, and view all the details and syndication status for every coupon they had in our system.
A simple mobile-first web-app built in python that helped team members find out who had on-call pager duty in a particular week. We previously had to look it up in an intranet calendar that was not user-friendly. Designed to match the Datasphere corporate theme. I built this right after finishing the Udacity Web Development course.

An iPad app concept I've been working on that is a clean and simple interface for your entire online history. It has been a great opportunity to learn the social networking API's, iOS development, and explore some fun user interfaces.
The ultimate goal for this particular UI adds some perspective to navigation. As you scroll through the weeks, the months glide along with you, above and behind the content, and the years move even more gradually behind the months. Think of the way the hour hand on your watch moves along with the minute hand. Each month or year is represented by the most significant moment of that period.
I helped a good friend start up this mobile marketing company: primarily writing copy and redesigning the company website (above is my mockup and copy), but also did some customer development and trained a sales & marketing intern. The friend was soon acqui-hired and shut down this agency.
