A new DnD RP Blog appeared!

I’m itching to explore more interactions with my DnD character outside of our ongoing campaign, so I’ve decided to make Tumblr RP blog for him! Let’s dive into some storytelling, character drama, and maybe a bit of chaos.

About me:

I’m 30+, a seasoned writer, and a literate roleplayer with years of experience.

I love weaving complex stories, exploring deep character dynamics, and creating memorable moments.

I also have a thing for dead dove content, such as whump, character death, and dark themes. Take this as a warning!

And, because I was asked recently, I am non-mutuals friendly!

About Curumë:

He’s a half-elf with a sharp tongue, a reckless streak, and a knack for getting into trouble.

Currently, he has 3 rogue levels and 9 warlock levels

He’s a walking contradiction: bound by choices yet fiercely chasing freedom, taunting the forces around him while masking his own regrets.

A study in ambiguous morality, the meaning of freedom, being an anti-villain, and character complexity.

There are different AUs availlable for him: General Fantasy Verse (default, own Lore but still DnD inspired), Durge (canon divergent, bg3 + dnd, only on demand), Tolkien Verse (WIP), God of Chaos (Fantasy AU, own lore), and different versions of his Canon verse (e.g. redemption arc, happy ending)

//Both. Curumë is very touchy. He loves being touched with consent and by people he loves, and he craves it, too. But he hates harsh touches; in fact, they can make him freeze when he feels he can’t escape them or if they are being forced upon him.

how do they sleep ? curled up, sprawled, holding onto something ?

//Curumë’s sleeps sprawled, and he also moves a lot while sleeping, much to the dismay of any partner sharing his bed. On top of that, the rat bastard man is a blanket hogger.

what’s the quickest way to set them off, even if they hide it

//To be fair, Curumë doesn’t hide his anger well, at all. He is incredibly impulsive. His anger isn’t loud, but he gets snappy. But to answer the actual question: When you hurt or insult his loved ones, especially his thief gang and found family, he becomes very protective of the few people he is close to. But it upsets him even more knowing that they are being held hostage and can’t fend for themselves. I also think it’s because of his subconscious feelings of guilt, which he projects onto his protectiveness.

what superstition or ritual do they cling to ?

//I think I talked about this a long while ago, but he believes that his special, lucky set of thief tools is actually lucky, and he’d swear on it.

arranged marriage hc

//Ok, ok, hopping on the bandwagon since everyone is talking about arranged marriages! I have a Royal!AU for Curumë in which he is actually in an arranged marriage or engagement, and he ends up ignoring it by having lovers and telling his partner they can do what they want as well. He would do anything, though, to get out of it.

This kind of frustrates his partner in that AU, since they think it is irresponsible and casts a bad light on them and their family, and it is the reason for a lot of drama.

The Royal!AU is very wild. Curumë is not a good king.

In his main verse, he would never enter an arranged marriage unless it was for infiltration and deception purposes, and all just a big show he can get out of at any moment.

//So, Curumë never actually went to a classic school. While still living with his mother and father in the elven community, he had private classes because his mother's side of the family had a lot of money. He came to hate it very quickly and tried to skip most of those lessons due to the rigid structure and frequent feelings that he wasn't good enough.

I think the one subject he was good at, and liked even, was probably related to nature and teachings about plants and animals.

If we count hunting lessons among these, he excelled at those as well, although he disliked the use of the bow and arrow, and archery lessons left a bitter taste in his mouth.

I think another subject he would have been interested in, had it been taught differently, would have been history. He is naturally curious and used to like listening to stories from times long past.
