I am working towards as much integration as I can, and prefer part & facet language (as opposed to headmate & alter being used). No part of me can heal until we can all heal together— no part left behind!

I think it’s a really funny thing in our system how the most “normal” parts in the world hold the most extreme traumas and the most “out-there” parts (superhero’s & whatnot) are the folks that manage normal stuff. Working. School. Self-care.

The Kitchen Entity came crawling out of the oven vent, and now it just hovers here in the middle of the room, like some kind of domesticated jellyfish. When you turn on the microwave, it crackles like a geiger counter. On warm days, it smells like mom's special m&m pancakes.
