A Pan Flute Melody in Honour of Capricorn’s Birthday

Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn, and The Saturnalia Festival was held at this time of year. The ceremony was to honour of the death of a Sun and rebirth of an ‘Unconquerable Sun’ as the sun returns from the paralysis that is seen in the winter solstice sky to radiate once more. The ancients celebrated the tremendous regeneration and restoration of energy that the warmth of sunlight provided. Darkness reconciles with light as the day. The goodness is taken with the bad. The young are given gifts from the old, the gift is the ultimate gift of life, the sun. Masters (Capricorn/Saturn) served and made abundant offerings to children, the poor, and oppressed (Cancer/Moon) equal in the balance of light and dark. This is why the sun is the centre of your horoscope, you are the newborn Sun/Son. Capricorn undertakes this internal realignment of light and dark on a consistent basis. The perceived lack of external safety, recognition, and support internalises Capricorn and directs focus into developing the inner light, returning the light inside of themselves.

She inhales the breath of god through the flute, and this was a great source of amusement for pan. Before the Catholics prayed with ‘our father’, the ancients chanted ‘oh breath’ for they knew that God’s love was accessible through our immediate conception. Pan preferred the fresh mountain air to the static of civilisation, and at their core the Capricorn longs to return to nature, find a tree of wisdom, to conquer that mountain, and just breathe. It’s easy for her to feel suffocated. Through pan’s flute she exchanges the flow of god into sounds of space. Pan was abandoned by his mother, and it relates to the theme of parents in the Capricorns life where in some form abandonment occurs, largely with the father. Doesn’t this sound familiar to Peter Pan? Who also played a pan flute, was orphaned, and resisted the mortality of Saturn and the everlasting return of light of life. She frees the musical talents of pan through the flute she plays that tunes a song heard only by the cosmos. This is why they hold her in such high and prestigious regard, Capricorn is adored by heaven because all symbolic forces united in loving vibration and preparation for her winter solstice birth

Please help my family and I raise money for my sisters funeral. The ageing process is retrogressive, their body and spirit clock is tuned in reverse cycle, they express the inherent potency of chronos and kairos.

The freedom and joy reserved for childhood is experienced much later in life, typically following the first Saturn return at age 29. Childhood is lonely, and loneliness was a condition they just accepted. It’s almost impossible to find a more potent and conflicting pair than the moon and Saturn. So there can be a see-saw experience between the elder and child fighting for domination. These people respond to challenges with upstanding resolve, but they can deteriorate by night and once coping skills have been exceeded. The unmet needs of the inner child take hostage, and they can become intensely frustrated at loved ones for not providing exactly what they need emotionally. This is largely because they do not know either.

 The outside world was dark, threatening, cold, and hard as a child. She may have been forced into extreme conditions to prove that she is worthy of being loved. Her house or surroundings may have felt permanently unsafe or insecure in a way she couldn’t comprehend. The backbone is built in childhood when they were small. And there it remains. By the time the individual is ready to confront the world it no longer seems as aggressive, icy, and foreboding. It is not so much of a scary place anymore now they are big, it almost seems tame compared to the childhood reality. It’s common for these people to feel like a part of them has been tossed to the wolves, and they are too petite in spirit, will, or power to command. It’s possible that school was a less daunting place than home and the individual formed close and profound bonds with teachers, educators, and doctors. The individual may have been raised by the grandparents or single parent household where one parent exhibited both roles. Being an adult is liberation, freedom, and release. They rarely wish a return to childhood. Developing self-sufficiency, coping skills, and emotional resilience was pivotal to survival. It can also become clear that most of these defences are primitive, ineffective, and destructive in adult life. The individual can naturally lapse into this reactive child mode during conflict, stressful, and emotional periods. Some of these are people that can switch into child mind conditioning and display full-blown adult temper tantrums or very regressive behaviours like a thumb sucking or milk before bed. For loved ones, this child mode becomes very demanding and difficult to negotiate with. And sometimes for these individuals its an unconscious opportunity to momentarily experience the childhood never had. The conduct of the moon is very unique for each person, so its position in the chart can outline how one negotiates these polar energies. Saturn can also accelerate or suppress qualities, so the emotional experience can be substantially dramatised, a minor inconvenience can become a matter of life and death. Saturn can also stun one into silence, emotions can paralyse inside and leave nothing but a shell. And they are certainly capable of demonstrating both of these qualities because Saturn and the moon together create a polarity. It can be hard to break these habits and cycles of behaviour. Saturn and the moon are both conservers who prefer not to let things go. The individual has carried this method of coping since she was very young.
