This green juice thing? Not very good. It had no alcohol in it whatsoever. How was he supposed to focus on anything without- Actually, that was maybe the problem. Maybe that was why he was so upset right now. He didn't even have a warm beer in his hand. Just green juice to be sipped through a straw. And why was he sweating? It wasn't even that hot right now. Well, actually, it was always hot when Laer was around and now the damn green juice was warm, too. That definitely didn't help the taste of it. He took another sip and outwardly cringed as he watched the Capture the Flag go on below. Atlas was doing great down there. Akara though? Well, he was just taking it day by day. "I want to go home," was all he said as he folded his arms over his chest, cup of green juice still in hand. He wanted to throw it, but he felt like it would probably hit someone so he just had a very firm grip on it.
Not since their first exchange before Hakanalia had the two lay together, it was unfortunate, this had to be the longest stretch of time that Laer had ever gone without penetrating a bedmate, but he was resolved to push Akara further. It made sense why the man was so frustrated, but Laer knew that, eventually, that frustration would boil over. The immortal could wait a lifetime if he needed to. "We don't have to stay if you don't want to," Laer didn't like seeing Akara so miserable; that warm green sludge in his hand didn't seem to be helping the mortal's temperament. "how can I help? You want to leave?" Most of these fighters and attendees were mostly naked already, so Laer couldn't ask them to reveal more for Akara's benefit. "All this time we've spent together in your realm, you've hardly shown me any of yours."
"This story begins on the beginning, and although it ends with a sliver of hope, it does not end happily," Andruil begins, finally, clumsy words of a soldier presented to a storyteller. She knows her strengths, and storytelling is not a skill she has wielded much before she arrived to the mortal realm. Still, she tries, slowly but carefully putting a sentence after the other, dragging the memories of the dark with great reluctance yet determination. She had come for stories of her Goddess, and the exchange had to be worthy, so she tells him a tale she had only told a handful of others: how in her determination, she escaped the goblins; how in her desperation, she fell to the mindflayers. She doesn't mince her words, blunt as she gives him an overview of what she suffered, but detailed when describing the taste of freedom and how it was taken again, only for it to be enough to drive her to another attempt, five hundred years after her second capture. She explains how she crawled, and dragged herself, half-death, out from what she believed to be the shadows, only to find the shade hanging over Menzoberranzan. "I got my freedom, in the end, but it changed me. Changed me enough that I knew if I stayed, I would lose myself entirely. So I left."
Immediately, the first thought that crossed his mind was that her story could use some embellishments. Still, Andruil was a drow, so later did not expect much from her in the ways of being a wordsmith. The warrior's descriptions were apt, to the point, and plentiful as she relayed what had to be a firsthand account of her time within the Underdark. To the side, page after page was scrawled with the details of her story to be shared with Akara and then naturally added to the elven histories. "I wasn't expecting a biography; you've led a colorful life. Your journey from Menozberranzan must have been an arduous one. I've undertaken the same trip myself." Clambering across the length of the Otherworld was no easy task for anyone. Andruil had succeeded in holding his attention, and he hadn't fallen asleep but found inspiration instead. "What are your thoughts on your fellow drow? Those in the Underdark, the lorendrow beneath us, and the residents that live just beyond our borders in the Otherworld?"
No longer of the Sun Court through his celestial ascension it wrought great comfort to know that Laer still insisted upon Tamlen's attendance to such summer rites and traditions. "No matter my progression, I wouldn't leave your representation in the hands of Logon and Cloud," though the Worldly supposed that Cloud had earned their right as the notorious bucket holder; it was a great honor, actually. The Merfolk was an architect in which Tamlen venerated but the Worldly always garnered an air of self-importance and found it would be a disservice to his chancellor and wardee if he was not in attendance. "The Sun Court will be the last stop on my journey, I may know it's song well, but consistency is a vital tool," through all he'd learn through the other courts, within the Astral, the Sun Court would forever be his home, no matter the celestial aether that now ran rampant within.
Was Laer going to start crying? Potentially. Had he already started? Absolutely, but Tamlen would feel the rush of pride gleaming through the bond they shared. It was different from the pride he'd felt this morning after he'd sewn four consecutive seeds into his bedmate before breakfast, but one of pure affection instead. "I wouldn't have it any other way, Tamlen; it's only fitting that your last and final stop would be home." Laer had delved deep into the mythos of the realms along his pilgrimage and spent much time among the soratami and a host of other creatures. More than his body had been spread across the Otherworld, but he'd also gathered great knowledge. Still, it fell short of being what Tamlen needed. "I will prepare for your return. Just because you're a celestial now does not mean you'll surpass me."

It did feel good to be encouraged on his quest for the ultimate carnal pleasure, the pang of disappointment was evident on his face. His instincts were right and the Chancellor was the hottest elve in Audulë. He lead the hottest court which meant his orgies likely did live up to the hype. Actually, if Elias was being honest, after the words they exchanged he'd wager the orgies were even more legendary than he had heard. And he wasn't invited. "That's one hell of a way to spend my immortality, chasing after the ultimate release. Though, how else am I to pass the time? One nut after another, eventually a few hundred years will go by right?" Hopefully, it doesn't take him that long, because if he doesn't get his honored invite by then, Elias might actually die from the shame. "Well, when you were eladrin the fey were notorious for fucking their way through the realm. There wouldn't be so many of us now if you lot were prudes. Given how stiff everyone in the fey forest is, someone has to attempt to carry on your legacy now that you've ascended to elve-dom. Why not me?" In the meantime, Elias now had his excuse to pass through the Moon Gate to gaze upon the mouthwateringly divine beefcakes. The current feast for his squinting eyes simply wasn't enough. Elias would endeavor to give his progress updates in person until he finally was allowed to enter the Sun Court's coital celebrations.
This one's failure to understand the significance of tepid passions spoke so keenly of a dusk or lunar child that it was almost heartbreaking. Robin had managed an invitation, but he had come to respect her deeply; perhaps that same fate could befall Elias. However, it was already a great rarity for anyone beyond the elves to be welcomed within. "Such exuberance, your body is a temple, as are the bodies of those around you. Watch them, worship them, devote yourself to them; this beautiful skin we wear holds the weight of our hefty souls within. That's where Sune's light shines brightest, but copious amounts of nutting will see you there eventually. Just be sure to use plenty of lubricant so you don't end up with rug burn, in time you'll be a legend among your people."

"The slow decay never stops, but with it comes the birth of new life," she whispers, more to herself than to her fellow Chancellor, a fond smile of her own as she keeps her gaze on the golden splendor before her. One must die and die and die, before they can live, just as she had been told on her confirmation ritual. She had learned that lesson intimately as nature consumed her and reshaped her over and over again, and learned it once more when buried along the roots, but it was easy to forget, when face with the enormity of their losses, of their grief. So many had died, sacrificed themselves for a better future for the courts, and that future has yet to arrive, for they are the ones that will be building it up from nothing. There is a reason that for as much as she does not understand Zahrya, she respects him. He is doing his part, building the future they deserve, and she can only thank him for that. "It will be hard work, reaching that future, but I look forward for that toil," she admits, even as a bemused smile spreads and she sends him an arched look. "I am beyond delighted to receive your invitation, I will not miss such a high honor."
"Good, naturally you'll have to be cleaned up, but I have no doubt that you can be presentable come the celebrations." Laer stated with obvious affection as clouds gathered around his feet; as much as he enjoyed visiting the other courts, he always got the distinct sense of poverty among them. Zahrya's smelled incessantly of seed, something had always just died in Robins, and there was the unmistakable brine of chastity leeching out of the ice in Aurora's. "I'll take my leave though chancellor, be well, try not to run into any more knives before then." Laer said goodnaturedly as the clouds lifted him from the swamps that Robin called home.

Elias was simple, at least when it came to what he wanted. He was hot, the elves were hot, so he wanted to have his hot self suck and fuck with out-of-this-world dimes. Could the sun elves even be considered as such? With the way he had to keep wiping the glisten (not sweat) off his forehead, referring to them as mere "dimes" sounded beneath them. "Sounds amazing. I had to shoot my shot even if it was a long one. Oh well," he said, trying not to pout too hard about being rejected from a magical orgy. Even if he was expecting it, Elias' ego was still wounded. Unfortunately, at least as far as his mental image of this mystical fuck fest under the sun went, his hurt pride wasn't nearly enough to deter him. "Someday, ok. I guess I can try to put together a sex party in the fey forest. Doesn't sound nearly as fun but it's something," Elias shrugged, finally admitting he couldn't take the heat. That didn't mean he was done basking in the sun elve's hotness just yet, but the light misting he sprayed over his head helped to cool him off as he continued to strain his eyes through the other's brilliance. "If your court is without equal, does that mean you are too? Like, you're one hundred percent the sexiest Chancellor?"
"That's the spirit, there must be a great many eladrins who'd gladly bask under your sheen. Never give up, that's what matters most." Oh, to be young again. Laer thought about the fey's question, and his mind wandered towards Aurora, Robin, and Zahrya; he'd been inside each of them all at once, and while the conditions had been satisfactory, they were all made more glorious by his essence. Even now, they walked a little taller and with something of a swagger ever since their union within the Titan. Laer had blessed them, but even with the adjacency that they'd come to his power of starfire and skies they could only hold his glory for a fleeting instance. A shame, truly. "Without question, the others all pale in comparison when they stand in my presence. It is not entirely fair, I know, for though they try their standards will never measure up to my greatness. Sun Elves have always been a cut above the rest, though, it's not their fault, and they recognize as much."
