Hi there! This is the Changing Weather collective!

We're a plural collective with about a dozen currently active members or so. We're of quoigenic origin, that is to say, none of anyone's business, so please don't ask!

We can be collectively referred to as Skyler, they/them pronouns. Bodily we're 20 and Latino. This is a sideblog! main blog is skyscorner, so if we follow you it'll be from there.

Hello hello everyone!! Pride season is coming up and we sure are busy getting ready for it as a majority queer system, but we were also thinking. How about we also bring our plural pride to these events as well , which has led us to this making this post!

We are going to be passing out plural stickers & goodies at our local events but we also want something informal as well since many might not know what the heck Plurality even is! So , we came up with this little card ! It's a work in progress/ first draft but we just wanted to see what the community thinks about it and if we should make any changes to it :-3!

Of course we walk among people every day...

We have jobs, lives, and friends and family. Some of us own houses and live with our partners, we visit our parents and our friends.

Endogenic systems aren't an "online" thing. We're people and we live with our systems every day of our lives. We might have online accounts where we talk about our experiences, but the online accounts aren't our entire lives, they're a window into the plural parts of it.

You cannot fathom that we actually exist offline because you're trying so hard to deny our existence because you can't understand it.

I'm the only one in our system who's internal appareance differs from canon. I've started to like the color orange as well as pink, and have started to wear it more often. I also wear my hair down a lot more. For me, seeing my canon appareance doesn't feel wrong, it just feels like looking at old pictures of myself. Like yeah, that's me, that's just not really my style anymore

I think our society has some strongly-rooted ideas about personhood as a fixed thing, and these ideas are part of the foundation for many, many forms of oppression and bigotry. Whatever circumstances somebody's born in are seen as defining them for the rest of their life. We categorize people based on where they're from, or where they "look like" they're from, and make assumptions based on that, even if they're a second or third generation immigrant and haven't lived in their "home country" all their life. We assign people a gender from the moment they're born and expect them to forever conform to it. Even for people who are accepting of trans people, there's often an insistence that they were always the gender they identify as, just trapped in the "wrong" body, even if the trans person has a more fluid interpretation of their gender. If somebody commits a crime, we label them as a criminal for the rest of their life, they're forever defined by their actions no matter how much they try to grow or change or make up for it afterwards.

I think as a society we need to acknowledge that not only can people change, they can become an entirely different person if they want to. People can reinvent themselves and don't need to be defined by their past. If someone's an entirely different person a year later, or even a day later, that's okay. Selfhood isn't static.

So when people say "the future is plural," I don't think about a world where everyone is a system or plurality is widely discussed. I think about a world where becoming someone else is so normalized that plurality is just another way that it happens for some people.

I don't really make posts and technically just a lurker in the community, I feel it is very important for the safety of the community for both antiendos & pro / neutral endos (more so Endo systems specifically since it's targeting them) to spread awareness about an upcoming app called " systemality " .

I have blocked them on my end since they are active here on Tumblr but I would just like to warn those who are thinking about it to know that the app is very strongly anti endogenic, polyminds, supporters of those , etc. As displayed in their pinned post here ↓

And to those who are anti Endo who think "I'll sign up bc of this stance" or those who wish to use the app despite that since "how would they know I'm Endo (/supportive)". There are currently privacy concerns as well because of them 'having their ways' to be able to look through your systems data to make sure and ban your acct. Which can be found here from an ask they answered ↓

In what ways they will 'find out if you are Endo / Endo supportive' is unknown (to me at least) but I wouldn't be surprised if they would go after those who use terms like 'mixed origins' , more specific origin/-genic terms , those who don't wish to say their origins/ -genic label , terms commonly used / made by the plurality & endogenic communities ,etc.

For me at least I would say to try and stay clear of the app & their socials for your own peace, safety, and privacy. Also please do NOT go after and harass / witch hunt them. This is NOT a post telling you to go bombarded them or be mean or rude , this is a post simply to inform the community.

It has been brought to my attention as well by a mutual that they will at first be going about this through looking at their user bases social media pages as seen down below. It is still an unsure answer as to if they will look into your accounts data since they haven't outright clearly denied it so it would still be the safest to not engage with them. ↓
