✴︎ — “ Well so far I like you the most out of everyone I’ve met, ” Sheridan shrugged. “ I mean, I’ll leave if you really want me to. “

“Well..” She starts, fake thinking about it. “I guess I don’t mind you sticking around with me. We should do something though.. Like an actual date this time.”

“You meant it,” Noah muttered playfully in return, his grin proving he hadn’t actually taken any offense at all. “Something tells me that math is all wrong, but then again, I’m not always excellent at math.” There was a pause as he gave this far more thought than necessary before abruptly hopping to his feet, tugging Willow up with him. “If you promise to ignore all the things and video games that make it seem as though I have the room of a 12-year-old boy, I suppose I can allow you in mine. At the very least, you’ll have the reassurance nothing sexy has tainted the place.”

“Never.” Willow rolls her eyes, a smirk playing on her lips. “Nah, I mean height and awkward levels. Plus the basic of 6 + 4 is 10 and that’s the actual correct thing. You’re not supposed to read into it anyways.” She starts, looking down at him, though he’d soon popped up. A small noise left her lips as she moved to her feet. “That sounds like fun though. You make it sound like being a nerd is bad. Am I banned from finding this all adorable? Like what happens if I wanna play Mario Kart?”

“It sounds good at the best of times.” Krystal said with a smile appearing on her lips. “ It does sound bad but being a shifter sounds as fun as being a faerie.” 

“Oh so are you a mischievous fae then?”

“Like me too much?” She asks curiously. “We’ve barely hung out and now I’m stuck with you? Who says I want you stuck to me?”

Sadie looked up at the other girl and smiled, “That’s the problem with librarires.  Too many people all trying to read alone means no one is actually reading alone.”  She smiled, “Plus, I’m reading about practical applications of plants in magic, I figure it’s only right to read about it surrounded by plants.”

“Well..” She paused, actually thinking about it. “You know.. You’re right. Though technically not everyone is reading. Some people could be doing their taxes for all you know.” The girl teases before nodding again. “Plant magic?”

“Well I will be glad to go with you to get some coffee. Oh, that sounds like it was some fun, don’t think I’ve messed with them yet. Exactly, life can be like that sometimes.”

“Well having a buddy sounds nice.” Willow says with a nod. “It was- really, I love being a shifter for that reason. It’s shitty, but honestly, there’s nothing more fun than seeing people light up when their crush talks to them.”

✴︎ — “ With someone pretty, ” Nat grinned. “ Nice to meet you too, ” Nat replied, raising an eyebrow when Willow trailed off. “ Everything okay ? ” she questioned, head tilting slightly.

“Most people are pretty.’ Willow comments through a happy sounding tone again. It wasn’t really until she was called back that she perked up again. “Yeah, it’s fine.” She reassures with a nod. “I just.. Heard some possible rumors relating your name.”

“I’m feeling a little attacked right now,” Noah muttered in return just as playfully despite the grin across his face. After a moment however, he lifted his head to comment, “All things are awkward when I’m involved. —I’m also very good at doing things in not a sexy way. I would say my platonic cuddling skills aren’t excellent, but still ok. A strong 6 out of 10… Maybe 6½. I know I’m not selling myself very well here, but I’ll take you up on that offer.”

“I didn’t mean to, I swear.” She says through a laugh before he’d lifted his head to look at her again. “I mean, yes, I’ll accept that too, but this is more awkward than just you.” Willow motions between them to the height again. “Well alright, your 6 plus my 4 means we’ll have a 10/10 cuddle session. Which bed?”

Willow shrugged a bit. “Well then I don’t have to worry about you dying. You have no need for me now.” She teased

✴︎ — “ I miss Hawaii, ” Jacqueline sighed, staring up at the sky from the spot she was laying in the grass. She wrinkled her nose when she realised it had been a few hours since she’d originally laid down, and she supposed she ought to maybe attempt to be social. That was part of the point of the show, wasn’t it ? She reached out when a shadow passed over her, fingers swiping at the person’s ankle lightly. “ What time is it ? ”

Willow jumped slightly and her form changed from the male back to her own fem shape. “Oh shit- gosh- yes uhmm.” She started while looking for her phone to look at the time.” It’s.. 4;30″

“Nothing is better than having a nice long rest to get rid of a migraine and you end up sleeping for three hours to be honest it was a nice sleep.I could really go for a coffee though.”

“Ooh I’m in need of some coffee as well. I pretty much only got 3 hours or so last night. I was messing with crew members as people they have crushes on.. Kinda shitty but that’s life, huh?”

✴︎ — Sheridan nodded, “ parents were out of the picture so I raised her, ” he shrugged. It felt normal for Sheridan, so it didn’t always occur to him that it wasn’t exactly normal to be on your own as a child and be raising your younger sister. Especially when he was only four years older. But it had been so long, and for him it wasn’t exactly a secret. “ Even so, she’s still more fun. She says I worry too much. ”

“You worry too much? So.. should I still be on the look out for a mad blonde, or?”

“Who said anything about a cry? I don’t cry — ever. Never in my life. Definitely not,” Noah continued to ramble on until he’d taken up his new seat next to the girl. Immediately, he slid down in his seat until leaning against her resulted in his cheek pressed up against her shoulder. “But you’re so little!” He exclaimed after a moment, “How do people even manage to cuddle you without losing you?”

“Sure, how old are you?” She teases before watching him slump against her. “Well- I mean, people who cuddle me aren’t normally as tall as you. Also, it’s normally in a bed and not awkward like this.” Willow says before bringing her opposite hand up to pat his head gently. “If you’d like we can move to a bed. Not in a sex way though, you seem like a platonic cuddle kinda person.”

✴︎ — Nat laughed, “ yeah, that isn’t happening. In public at least, ” Nataliya grinned. “ Nataliya Nikolayeva. And you are ? ”

“Oh but in private?” She teases before the girl said her name. It sounded familiar and she didn’t remember from where right away. “I’m Willow Carlisle, it’s nice to meet you Nat..” The shifter started to fade off on the womans name as it hit her who she was. “Nataliya.” She corrected while putting on a smile. She didn’t want to dislike the girl off the bat for her tuff with Sheridan, but she did.

“No, you moved too far to the left,” he responded. “Like a half inch to the right?” he requested, quirking his eyebrow as he spoke. 

“Nope” Willow responded, lifting her chin. “You only got one move. Like a true pawn.”

“Oh- uh-” Willow says before moving to her left a step. “Is that better for you, your bossy-ness?”
