Now with people complaining about the care bears x sonic rumble collab being "too childish" because "sonic is a franchise for teens" LIKE. my brother in christ i can walk into any clothing store here and there's probably sonic clothes in the kids section. They make action figures and toys and plushies that are sold in toy shops. The comics are stocked in the kids section of comic stores. All the cartoons are very clearly aimed at children. Sonic is deliberately aged down for the movies. Nice to know 100% of discourse stems from the fact people think this is their adult shounen anime series and are in complete denial they like a franchise largely targeted toward a child demographic lol

#it's always 'he talks too much' like bro 9 year olds are dumb as hell they need to be handheld #also. these characters aside from metal arent silent like. ever. they're mostly pretty talkative #i imagine if that shadow spinoff wasn't cancelled it'd have a bit less dialogue than your average sonic comic #but not everything is gonna be like that one metal story. bc there's not often a situation where these characters have reason to be silent #silence should be used effectively. what sonictwt says they want would probably not make a very good comic #(mainly thinking about issue 50 since that's a topic of discussion again. like. no the dialogue was very much warranted)#mine

as much as i think amy does need a slight tweak with her writing (some of her dialogue in crossworlds is. well....) i like the idea that sonictwt thinks they actually care a lot about female characters and want them to be mean and angry and flawed. you people couldn't even handle lanolin. YOU PEOPLE COULDNT EVEN HANDLE AMY UNTIL 2022
