I’ve struggled with nail biting my whole life, but have grown out my nails for the past month (with minimal biting… just a lil light gnawing here and there…).

Now that I’m fighting the urge to pick them again, I’ve applied press ons. It’s different now to apply them and *not* be uncomfortable by the length. And not have half the glue on your skin.

This is a win. Btw, what’s helped the most to resist biting/picking my nails has been oiling my nails and keeping them smooth via filing (edges) and clear base (surface)

Ok nvm the press ons started coming off in less than two days. Gel stickers also came off. Jus started gel polish at home and it has the most promising initial application.

This year is trash for the country, but ironically, my personal life is going great

I’ve very lucky for the blessings and stability

My pay is alright in a HCOL; doable with a roommate but not enough to have my own place or own. But I love where I live, have enough to put into retirement accounts, can buy silly treats and gifts here and there, and can eat well (between home cooking and restaurants).
