Well, Jim is still nauseous.

Y'all cross your fingers and light your candles or whatever that this is all an extreme reaction to me trying a (light! comparable ingredient!) food transition on him in the last day or two and he'll be recovered by morning.

Poor guy.

#we can go to the emergency vet if we have to #but it's gonna be real tough coming on the heels of last months giardia treatment and Dixie's urine culture this morning #and I absolutely can't afford to lose any more work

Still down with the world's worst cold, can't stop coughing and my ears are completely stopped up so that everything sounds underwater.

Then Dixie started having urinary incontinence issues and is having a $230 urine culture done (please please please just need estrogen) and Jim's diarrhea is back intermittently which means we're going to have to explore the possibility of IBD and a few days ago my cell phone totally bricked itself so I lost all my pictures since January.

I'm not a person who believes strongly in luck, but that means I don't have any rituals for when my year appears deeply fucking cursed and needs a reset.

Our neighbor across the way just got a giant backhoe and completely dug out her yard. I was so excited for her and what she's going to plant next...

It's grass. She dug out all the grass because there was moss in it and brown spots and now she's going to plant grass all over again?? Fucking grass. The amount of work and and expense she's just given herself for absolutely no reason astounds me.
