One thing I don’t understand about modern Batman, is the fact that he’s just downright cruel in some circumstances. You say Batman doesn’t kill, but heck he sure does break a lot of bones and ruin the quality of life of the goons, many of which likely turned to crime as a way to make money in a crumbling economy. A economy Bruce could fix with his vast wealth.
Do you think he felt bad when he gave Scarecrow a broken nose? Does he think twice when he destroys poison Ivy’s precious plants or solves Riddler’s quandaries with no problem, inadvertently breaking the man’s confidence.
I understand why Gotham needs Batman, but where is the human behind the mask? Why does Bruce still allow Arkham to stay open, when it’s methods are years behind and often cruel? Where is the Batman from the Animated Series, who actually cared about the rogues? Why do we get iterations like Arkham Knight, who torture and main? Is that what people want to read nowadays?

The reality of war, pain, and destruction we have faced daily for nearly two years is indescribable. Before that, we were a normal family, like yours: we worked in various professions (accountant, school guard, nurse, etc.), held social gatherings, and celebrated birthdays. Since then, we have lost everything: our homes, our jobs, our possessions, our family members, and our friends. Our lives are in tatters.
The past three months have been hell. Constant displacement (five times), living in a squalid tent, water scarcity, and unbearable food. We eat at most one meal a day, usually canned beans or rice Even if this is found at very high prices, we go days without even a single meal a day My family and I are hungry 💔.
Escaping starvation and death seems impossible. The crossing is closed, keeping us trapped in Gaza.
I launched this campaign because it is our only hope for survival until the crossing is finally opened, or, God willing, this war ends and reconstruction begins.

Mom has been working so hard, and her final hurdle to coming home is walking. She can stand with assistance on the bar and with a walker. However, her therapy comes to an end tomorrow 9/19. She has medicare and medicaid but they hate paying for PT, so even though she qualifies she has to wait three to six months for them to pay again. Obviously, this is very backwards and has only burdened us. We have gone though this twice already, and the wait is excruciating.
I'm looking to pay out of pocket for some therapy to supplement for those times in insurance won't pay. I am also looking for more insurance options as we speak, but it's a lot of complicated jargon and hard to sift though what we can afford vs what can actually help
