let me tell y’all a story about something my dumbass 7 year old self thought and, despite being FAR from right, i never realized it until years later.

in the intro to that old kids’ show, madeline, there was this one scene where miss clavel finds her wearing a lion costume

when i was 7, i thought madeline got fucking eaten by the lion but was able to control it from the inside like a puppet. not ONCE did it occur to me that she’s just wearing a costume.

because madeline is an aspiring god of destruction. one day when she’s an adult, she will kill a man. and she’ll just watch him suffer a slow and agonizing death with those lifeless fucking eyes. she’ll destroy the very orphanage she was raised in with her bare hands. that basic bitch ballet director will regret ever mocking her clumsiness.
