BASICS: though Pokémon is PG in itself, there may at times, be content on this blog meant for mature audiences (i.e. foul language, violence, etc.). additionally, at my own age, i prefer to write with adults 20+. thus making / labeling this blog as MINORS DNI. it should go without saying, but i will state it for my sake anyhow... muse does not = mun and vice versa. please be kind, patient, and respectful! when in doubt, always ask! i made this blog mostly for the sake of having some good old fun being a variety of creatures causing mayhem and adoring their trainers!

FOLLOWING: please do not take it personally if i do not follow you back! my blog is selective and private, as i only intend to follow those i see myself writing with or otherwise am comfortable with. additionally, if you are below the age of 20, or have an excessive amount of muses / fandoms on your blog (the latter obviously only applies to multis) it is unlikely that i will follow you back. i apologize if this puts you off, but i want to keep my dash somewhat organized and relevant! i am oc and duplicate friendly!

UNFOLLOWING: i reserve the right to unfollow at any given time, just as you do! now, i personally do not use the block button liberally. in fact, i only use it if i feel it is absolutely positively necessary. if you wish to never see me again, however, i suggest you hard-block me; i just don't want to accidentally follow you back again and ruin your spirits! vague-posting (negatively) about other writers, stealing created content, bigotry, and drama will result in an instant block!

WRITING: sending me an ask / meme is the quickest way to spark something between us! my inbox is ALWAYS open for these small interactions. i myself am a miserable, lousy, no good plotter, but will always do my best to keep things moving or add a lil flavor to things! i am always willing to talk something out / over before writing it! please do not reblog any of my headcanons, threads, or asks unless you are directly mentioned in them! if there is ever a question or concern while we are writing, don't hesitate to let me know; i promise i won't bite! personally, my activity here will be sporadic / low, and my replies may be slower than usual. it's nothing against you, but i do tend to write when and where inspiration hits most!

TRIGGERS & TAGS: i will do my very best to tag sensitive material, and should you ever need me to tag something specific, do tell me! i personally do not have anything blacklisted, though i ask that you either a) warn me first if you intend to spam the dash with real imagery of spiders or b) tag them so i might be able to avoid them! almost everything i post will have some sort of tag, and eventually, maybe, i'll make a master-post of my tagging system. but that's for another time....

It's however effective it is! Anyway, now that I have your attention, I just wanted to post an activity update! This blog is LOW activity and again, mostly just for funsies. That being said, work has resumed its regular schedule for me, and that means I likely won't be around much, if at all, during the week. Weekends will be my activity days! It's also worth noting that this is NOT my primary, let alone my only, active blog (I'm running like...4-5). If you're ever wanting to catch me for a chat or to shake me down for some rp, mutuals are welcome to ask for my Discord, but again, writing activity will be sparse throughout the week unless it can be done on mobile (but spoons vary). A note about how I write Pokémon: The majority of my writing for the Pokémon on my blog will appear genderless, in that I write them using it/its and they/them. This is a placeholder until development is had with my mutuals or anyone who might capture / adopt the Pokémon into their crew! By doing this, I leave the gender of the Pokémon up to my writing partners should they have a preference. If there is no preference, then I'll simply pick at random (coin toss or wheel spin)! I just sort of figured it would be a fun little detail that my mutuals get to choose!

It's no use! Eevee has taken it upon itself to make a nest out of your favorite shirt / jacket. The Pokémon is happily curled up and snoozing on it, one little paw kicking out every now and then as it dreams!

My toxic trait is knowing full well I'll add a Pokémon to my list later (instead of just doing it now / before), thus having to rearrange to put them in numerical order all over again. And I only have to rearrange them due to how I'm listing them. Why do I do this to myself???? The world may never know! I certainly won't.

Per that PSA post, I want to add: I'm also an anxious writer! Not only am I diagnosed with severe anxiety, writing Pokémon is new for me. This blog was made on a whim and initially just meant to be good, silly, chaotic fun (which I will forever hold onto), but I've gained a small number of followers recently and... just to be clear, I'm NOT ignoring you or anything. I'm just nervous! I'll do my best to warm up to you as quickly as possible ajhdfkgl.

i am a slow roleplayer. not only do i get distracted easily, i get overwhelmed easily. sometimes i can’t talk and do drafts at the same time so i am sorry if i ignore your message. i am deliberate and methodical with every word choice. i like to spend my time on my writing and getting to that emotional level within myself to evoke a proper response with each reply. i’m not good at whipping out thread after thread. i never have been. i’m sorry if that’s the way you roleplay and i don’t match up, but i like to think the quality of the writing makes up for my lack of speed. thank you so much!

Glinda eyed the thorn stuck in the pup's paw. It was definitely too difficult for the pokemon to take out on its own, and there were no others of its kind around to help.

But perhaps she could.

'If you would like, I can pull it out,' she said, tucking the claw attached to her head behind her body. 'You will need to stay still as I remove it with my powers.'

The idea of any sort of pressure coming to the wound draws a growl from the Rockruff pup. Hackles raise, fluffy tail gives a quick, warning wag. But it means no real threat, as it understands that help is being offered. Help that it so desperately needs and wants.

⌞I...I can be still.⌝ It huffs, lifting its head as though bravery and stillness were not a question. As if it had not cowered at her presence mere seconds ago! Still, it sits and offers up its injured paw with a low whine.

⌞Thank you...⌝ The gratitude is offered in a softer manner than its previous howling.

There was a child. The child was crying. Loudly crying. A part of her had the urge to strike, but she could not do that to this pup.

Another tactic was needed.

'Why do you cry, little one?' she asked telepathically. 'You are being far too loud.'

It COWERS briefly, shrinking away from her. But still the pup holds up one paw, never allowing pressure upon it. From the padded underside sticks a thorn - too large and too embedded for the Rockruff to pry or rub it out. Though that's not the only issue at hand... its pack is...gone. Leaving the Pokémon all on its own.

⌞I have a thorn in my paw ! It hurts... I can't get it free.⌝

A peaceful night is unlikely to occur with this agitated pup! Rockruff is HOWLING !!

Ruby colored gaze blinks as a rustle within the bushes draws attention from the Mawile, who had been busy gathering berries. Well, that and trying to catch back up with their trainer… But for now, Yuzu wasn’t in too much of hurry to do that. Even if maybe he should’ve been.

Instead, the small steel type gave an excited little grumble of a noise at seeing a Sableye peek their head out— it felt like a long time since he’d last seen one of them! So he couldn’t help but give a few excited little stomps with an added ‘giggle’ before, copying the greeting he’d seen many times, and waving to the other mon.

{since I haven’t managed to sleep yet at the time I’m sending this— have a gremlin from Minato’s team for your own gremlin LOL}

UNPROMPTED / ALWAYS ACCEPTING

Teeth chatter !! They click and clack with the Sableye's jittery movements, making it appear almost eerie. Still, it peers out from its hiding place, curious about the fellow Pokémon in the vicinity. The other seemed to display excited behaviors, welcoming its presence. This puzzles Sableye, but encourages it to step out a bit further. Purple claws fumble over one another, feet dragging as it stands there awkwardly gazing at the other before giving a small, unsteady wave. Noticing a berry on the ground nearby, Sableye plucks it up and studies it. The small thing reflects briefly in its gemstone eyes before it shuffles forward again, offering the berry out to the Mawile. Its arm is extended as far as it will go to ensure space remains between the two. It's nervous!

Looking at the anxious pokemon, Lucian realized that, perhaps, the Glinda threat was going a bit overboard.

"Alright, I won't summon her," he said, now feeling bad for startling the little thing.

It hides nearby, keeping part of its frame obscured from view. Still, it watches Lucian — curiosity catching the best of the Sableye. With the threat called off, the human didn't seem so scary and terrible anymore. It dances from foot to foot, uncertain and unable to keep still.

It shuffles backwards, taking slow steps away. This time its teeth chatter anxiously. The Pokémon keeps retreating, gleaming gemstone eyes never leaving Lucian's form.
