The dates are set! Zenyuki Week for 2017 will be held from 18- 24th of September.
Before you all go on to create your entries, make sure to check the Rules and Guidelines
After having a really long and aggravating discussion(as Admin Annie says xD), the five of us have finally settled down with the prompts. Since this is our first time holding an event like this, we have chosen the themes that are mostly related to Zenyuki and are simple. 😊
So, as you all can see the above calendar, here’s a short description of the daily prompts:-
#1: Connected
As we have seen in the manga, the distance between Zen and Shirayuki is not just limited to their difference in status anymore. Shirayuki is now at Lyrias, separated from Zen.
So this prompt is about how their separation affects/doesn’t affect their love for each-other..that even after such distances, their feelings are connected.
#2: Memories (Admin Annie has promised a fic for this one)
Memories or simply, the Past. Before their fateful encounter Shirayuki and Zen had a completely different lifestyle.
Memories is all about their past life and how their encounter has changed their daily life.
#3: Damsel in Defence
As we all know, Shirayuki isn’t one of those damsels who wait for the guy to save the day. She is independent and knows how to stand-up for herself.
Your entry can simply show Shirayuki as the one who saves herself from trouble. Or maybe how Zen feels about this awesome quality of hers. Or anything else that you can think of.
#4: Secrets (Admin Niji’s personal fav)
Zen and Shirayuki’s relationship is a big secret from the public.
So your entry can be simply based around how this secret is problematic at times. Or how it is just their little secret 😉 Or something completely different from this description.
#5: Dance (Admin Star..eh..hem Admin Zen’s fav)
This one’s all about dance. Can be based on a ballroom/banquet. Or it can be a Prom Night AU. Or maybe just drunken waltzing 😉 It’s up to you!
#6: Insecurity (Admin Manika’s first choice)
No relationship is perfect. Insecurities hit a couple every now and then. And in situations like these, how do the characters cope with it? Or how do their partners help in eradicating these insecurities?
Your entry can be about anything that can cause insecurity in Zen or in Shirayuki..Or maybe both..
#7: Reunion
I think this one is pretty much the easiest one, considering how touching the reunion in chapter 88 was ☺
You can base your entries around that chapter or make something entirely fresh and innovative. The choice is yours! 😄
We have chosen september because it is our first time holding such an event. And we think, the more time you guys have, the better entries you can create 😊
