right anyway i had,, a thought âïž
skk being codependent but not in the traditional way. they can live and function without each other, and it doesnât hurt to be separated.
but everything they do is influenced by thinking of the other. like sure chuuya doesnât care that dazai is now in the ada, but he still has habits that he learned with dazai around, and vice versa for dazai.
ughhhjsj i cant think of specific examples but just the idea of them being so interwoven that every underlying thought they have is about each other, even when separated and living completely different lives,, codependent but only letting it affect them where their souls combine
when u start thinking abt how fyodor only has logically three ways to die, and all of them seem unlikely at the moment
1. very obviously, dazai himself. yk, with his ability, and killing fyodor would cancel out his ability to take over his body. but this cant happen because dazai is in EUROPE and the only way heâd be able to get back is flight (provided most likely from the PM, since thatâs how i assume chuuya got there. however chuuya also couldâve just probablyâŠ.. launched himself?) but even then, it would take like 14 hrs. so dazaiâfor the moment, at leastâis out of the question.
2. a nullifying device. this probably would have to be applied to fyodor before anyone killed him, which means that he wouldâve been captured beforehand. which, even with the most recent chapter, doesnt seem like something that can be easily done. atsushi and aku may be able to slow him down and stop him from escaping, but i dont think anyone (unless ranpo or any other geniuses intervened) would be able to catch up fully enough to capture him. also, its most likely the government would have access to these. and while they might be at the battlefield, i highly doubt they brought anything with them considering the small amount we see.
3. the least LEAST likely, since its the hardest to accomplish: fyodor is killed by some other thing that isnt a person. he trips over a rock and breaks his neck? thats not a person with ill intent or using anything as a weapon, so it wouldnt work. but if he trips over a rock that was deliberately placed there by someone who wanted to catch him off guard? his ability would work. but the first possibility just wouldnât happen bc its fyodor and heâs not dumb, and the second is just completely frowned upon since everyone knows his ability now.
Hello please reblog this if youâre okay with people sending you random asks to get to know you better
just found out that âsalvatoreâ means savior and i might. i might start cryibg
Dazai and Chuuya aren't the âBrains and Brawnsâ duo. They are each a blend of intellect and strength, remarkably so.
Dazai, often spinning complex strategies from the shadows, is, despite popular opinion, far from physically weak. Despite not being as physically powerful as Chuuya, he has repeatedly demonstrated resilience, precision, and physical prowess. His Port Mafia years were not spent behind a desk; he was on the field, assassinating, torturing, interrogating, and surviving in one of the most violent organizations in the BSD world. In multiple encounters, Dazai is quick, agile, and capable of throwing significant harmful blows at opponents. He was able to push off a full grown man, Sigma, out of the elevator. His strength lies not only in intellect but in physical control, honed instincts, and perhaps most importantly, endurance, a trait that rarely gets acknowledged because it hides beneath his sarcastic facade.
On the other hand, Chuuyaâs impulsive and hot-headed reputation often overshadows his intellect, but this portrayal is misleading. As a gravity manipulator, Chuuya is forced to perform precise, real-time physics calculations in combat â adjusting trajectory, pressure, and force at dizzying speeds. The mere act of not crushing everything around him while using his ability speaks to immense mental control and awareness. Beyond his ability, Chuuya is also an experienced leader and tactician. His command over his juniors, his adaptability in battle, and his ability to read enemy movements all reveal a sharp, battle-hardened intellect. He may not indulge in the same layered manipulations as Dazai, but Chuuyaâs intelligence is grounded in pragmatism, quick thinking, and strategic combat.
Together, they are not two halves of a lopsided whole â they are two complete, formidable individuals who choose to complement each other. The brilliance of Double Black lies not in a simplistic division of labour, but in the way both Dazai and Chuuya are capable of thinking and fighting, independently and in tandem. Their partnership is synergy, not dependency.
In stripping away the âbrains and brawnâ narrative, what emerges is a more accurate, richer understanding of who Dazai and Chuuya truly are: warriors and thinkers, both. And in that mutual completeness, their partnership becomes all the more compelling.
as promisedâŠ.
ALRIGHT GUYS ITS TIMEE. my kind-of-put-together-thoughts abt how fyodor and dazai compare to each other.
first and foremost, important distinction: fyodor and dazai are similar in their manipulation, but they donât use it the same, which means that this many comparisons over them are (in a very strict) half wrong. such as mori and dazaiâs comparisons.. but im not gonna get into that today.
now. why is that? lets start with fyodor.
alright, one of the most important things we know about fyodor is that he is devoted to God. like thats his Thing. he doesnât believe in humanity, abilities, and the likeâ hes only doing this to please what he believes is God. which is where his difference with dazai comes into play, because his manipulative tactics are fundamentally different. fyodor doesnât trust the people hes manipulating. he doesnât rely on trust; he relies on the manipulation hes placing over them. he controls their every move.
and when comparing this to dazai, you already see the difference. dazai doesnât believe in God. hell, clearly, he doesnât fully believe in living. but thats just the thing about him, too; he trusts the people and abilities around him. sure, he manipulates them, but thats just what he does. and even then, he still trusts them. his plans are based around trust. he has complete, utter trust that the people hes close with will do the things he plans for them, even if not there. the road maps are all planned out and he trusts them to follow. and they do! because the trust goes both ways, even if you hate him for it.
just realized i havenât written abt my kind of in depth thoughts abt dazai and fyodor, and how they compare to each other????? im a failure of bsd analysis
ok bsd analysis time <3
here u go gang
bsd analysis timee
woah dude. randomly listening to a song and hear âthe soul afraid of dying never learns to liveâ
if this isnt dazai what is. and like i know; he actively âchasesâ death. but i think we all know its more of the fact that he doesnât know fully how to live yet, and thinks the only solution to that is death. he doesnât want death itself but he wants the life that comes with it. yk????
character essay 1: Damon Salvatore
disclaimer: if i have anything to add when i get to later seasons i will be reblogging this and adding on like that.
getting ready for my damon analysisâŠ. im gonna have to research so much angst this is gonna be terrible
dudeee i want to write my stuff already but i need to do it on a doc or smth first
The problem w writing fiction is that you'll be like tee-hee I'm going to write a story about a fucked up little scenario that's got nothing to do with anything in real life, just some pure messed up nonsense, and then you finish it and take a step back and go aw rats I made a metaphor again
possibly the worst person in the show at this time comes up on my screen but all i can see is someone who wants to love and be loved back. and someone who wishes he could be anything other than himself
nothing could ever make me hate u damon salvatore
making myself go to sleep otherwise i might write an entire in depth analysis over a character no one has thought of for the past few years
and so what if i made a character analysis blog who would stop me
i will figure the rest of this out in the morning đ
guess who figured it out lol
oh for the record tho, i have not yet began writing my thoughts down, so the actual analyses part will come laterâŠ..
