Wonder Woman Costume by Protokitty

Artist’s Comments: When Jim Lee's new costume for Wonder Woman was announced, it created quite a buzz. Quite a few people weren't happy with it including one of my good friends who wrote a short tirade about it. So I decided have a crack at it. (He's still not happy with it tho, can't please everybody!) I actually have no problems with Jim Lee's redesign except I think her WW should be larger (it is an iconic symbol). I noticed a whole bunch of artists on deviantArt also did their own version of Wonder Woman's costume and alot of them were really great! It seems like a consensus that pants are always a good idea for an action hero. Someone should make a group gallery dedicated to Wondy's costumes.

"I think the thing that always bothered me about Fran wasn’t her metal negligee but her stilettos. The argument for them is based on her foot structure but I figure if that is so, then a lady as hardcore as Fran might at least want some high-heeled boots that would actually serve to protect her toes, since getting a stubbed toe in battle is something easily avoidable!"

"There is no reason a stone cold badass has to be stone cold. I went back to her roots in the 1930’s fiction of Robert E. Howard and her native Hyrcania, pulling in Persian and Iranian elements for her clothing, armor, and weapons. Still had to give a nod to her iconic silver scale mail bikini, though!"
