He almost welcomed and encouraged any form of violence of meanness from the woman, it was hot and he was only a man. He had not a care in the world and was thinking about texting Nasrin when his fresh coffee almost ended up giving him second degree burns. He turned to the person who had just walked past with a scowl, assuming it was his fault. "Hey watch where the fuck you're going. Can't you see there are people around here with drinks in their hands? Jesus fucking christ.

NASRIN RAISES A BROW at the inference that she was easy to read, which he knew to be further from the truth. charlie has always had a rather brazen sense of confidence that for a time, nasrin couldn't quite figure out if it was warrented. however, the closer she's allowed herself to get to him -- the more so she knows that yes, it is indeed somewhat true. " are you sure about that? " she hums, smirk certainly clear as day. if he really could read everything about her like a book, he'd know better than to get so close to her. she was poisonous, after all. " because every man who's said that to me has always ended up suprised. " more like, had been sent on a run for their money. " what'll be adorable is shaking your confidence, handsome. but a bet... you know i can't say no to a game. that is.... " she steps closer, eyes slowly moving upwards to meet his. she makes sure to make her movements slow, deliberate as could be. so he feels her gaze over every inch of his chest. "I never speak unless I'm 100% sure." It was far from the truth, Charlie spoke frequently and more often than not he had absolutely no idea what he was talking about or why but life was more fun that way. "My confidence is completely unshakable but you're more than welcome to try." From the moment he popped out of the womb he knew who he was, what his purpose in life was and who he was going to be for the rest of his life. It came with a level of self certainty very few people had. "If I win I get to take you home and do whatever I want to you, within reason of course. if you iwin - well that depends on what you want."

Elena took the gentle insult--teasing, really--with a grin and slightly narrowed eyes, saying nothing as he threw his first dart and popped a balloon. With a slightly over-dramatic sigh, she leaned against the counter and looked between him and the board. "You don't seem too rusty," she remarked, "Think you can hit all three darts?" She cocked her hip to the side and leaned her weight on one foot, then folded her arms. "Maybe I'll learn a little bit from you." Doubtful, her mind supplied. He didn't seem particularly the type to fall for a hustle, but she wouldn't be herself if she didn't at least try.

"Maybe with some concentration I can mange it." He said, acting like he was in deep thought about his chances. Charlie had grown up as a crimson, he'd also been trained like one from an early age. His aim was one thing he was more than confident about. "Why? What do I get if I do hit every target? I feel like there should be some kind of bet going on here."

THINGS COULD NEVER BE easy, could they? no matter how small. while nasrin herself was known to be prickly -- silver's presence was certainly a challenge to even her. it didn't scare her, hell no. in fact, it intregued her. even still, she couldn't have been happier to simply enjoy the carnival with the very handsome man she came with. her eyes form a knowing look as her eyes fall on the bear -- also giving way to a rare moment of softness. something about the thought behind it. maybe, just maybe, she can be like any other woman for the night. just there, on a date -- with nothing else to worry about. " look at you... one step ahead. " nasrin grins, arm linking with his with the bear in her other hand. where could they even begin? they'd barely gotten to explore the booths, and there were so many to choose from. " can you imagine me trying to carry one? even if it's not by much, they're still taller than me. " while the bear is under her arm, her free hand traces a slow pattern along his forearm. " where do we start? and i fully intend to kick your ass in many of these things. "

"Well you know me, always one step ahead. I can clearly just read you like a book." Either that or he just knew the majority of women liked cute fluffy things and when somebody thought of them without prompting. Charlie would have been lying to pretend Nasrin wasn't on his mind frequently. Who could blame him? She was hot and he was just a man. "It's really adorable that you think you can kick my ass in any of these games. If you think you can win maybe we should make this more interesting with a bet." Charlie said with a grin, directing her towards the first booth that he saw, the heart toss.

Admittedly, Elena had little interest in the array of pastel pink and red stuffed animals that lined each booth as prizes despite her skill with most of the games dotted throughout the carnival grounds. Shithead activities in her early-twenties meant she'd spent a lot of time honing her abilities with these sorts of things, only to unleash them on the nearest stranger who fell for a smile and big brown doe eyes. Once her turn came around again, she aimed and intentionally missed the first two darts, then popped a pink balloon on the third.

"I think this is rigged," she complained with a heavy sigh, then twirled another dart between her fingers and eyed the next person. "Are you any better?"

Charlie didn't like to show off - actually that was a lie Charlie loved to show off. He been standing near to the balloon darts booth set on winning his date something when he was unexpectedly spoken to. "Intentionally difficult probably but rigged? I highly doubt it." Although if there was a wind machine around somewhere to make the balloons move he wouldn't have been surprised. "Well it'd be hard to be much worse." He laughed, strolling up to take his turn. He threw the first dart and hit one of the large balloons at the top. "Not too bad, I'm a little rusty though."

FIRST CHARLIE HAD TO work at the photobooth and then? nasrin was beckoned to the face-painting table. duty calls, of course. however, once all that was over -- they could finally do what they came here for: enjoy the carnival together. just as she had said to miray, nasrin had no intention of coming to something like this with someone she didn't like. it certainly didn't hurt either that he was easy on the eyes, looking particularly handsome this evening. a playful smile blossoms as she's finally able to do away with her apron, her red leather trench able to return to her shoulders -- but she doesn't bind it shut, not yet. she wants him to take it all in. to know that this dress looked like it was made for her. " there you are. " she hums, hand coming to rest along his upper arm. " now that work is done.... i suppose it's time you win me a stuffed animal or whatever it is people do at these things. "

It had taken a while since the beginning of the carnival for them to finally spend some time together. It would have been a lot easier if they'd been working the same shift but instead Charlie was forced to entertain himself while Nasrin completed her shift. Towards the end he'd ran out of things of to do and decided to linger near the booth instead, a brown teddy bear from one of the stalls in hand. "Here I am and one step ahead of you like the incredible date I obviously am." He smirked, pulling the bear out from behind his back. "I might have to win you one of those massive things next that seem amazing at the time but then you have to carry them around all night AND find somewhere to put it."
