she is originally from NOLA, her mother is a school principal and her dad is an accountant. she has a half sister from her dad’s previous marriage but they barely know each other (no bad blood though)
she is fairly close to her parents, there’s mutual respect and love but they don’t spend too much time together
charlie attended an all girls catholic high school, which she absolutely hated but it was a pretty decent school so her parents sent her there despite she literally begged them not to.
during her school she developed an interest in metal music, goth culture and all black clothing lskflafksafklsfa.. HUGE FAN OF marilyn manson and nine inch nails
back in high school she would wear questionable outfits*** and put a racoon make up but she doesn’t do that anymore. still very much into music though
charlie LOVES math, she is basically a math whizz and if anyone makes fun of math, be ready to hear a long ass speech about the importance of math.
also p much obsessed with books & movies. especially tim burton movies, after seeing the nightmare before christmas, she decided to study animation in college
her love for tim burton is v well known among her friends. she also has THIS TATTOO on her ankle
after high school, she got in SCAD (savannah college of art and design), she studied animation aka HER DREAM.
college was a blast, charlie literally sobbed when it was over because now she had to find a job but since her field is v niche, she didn’t have any luck in that department
around that time, charlie’s parents moved to alabama because her mom was offered a job. currently she is a high school principal
honestly she doesn’t approach strangers very often but if you talked to her, she wouldn’t be rude to you and certainly hold a conversation
you either love charlie or hate her, there’s no in between. she loves playing the devil’s advocate, she has strong opinions and is not afraid of speaking her mind. she has also this annoying habit that she feels like she has to oppose every popular opinion, like if majority of people like something, charlie feels like she has to dislike it.
she lives in oasis with a roommate and she does not like them -- WC ALERT
before moving to la, she was involved with a guy named elliot, he was the polar opposite of her, he was a kind, gentle high school teacher. despite their differences, they ended up dating for a while but they both knew it wasn’t going to last forever for two reasons, one — she was going to move eventually, two — his relationship with his ex was too complicated. elliot really holds a special place in her heart, hell she even considered staying in that hell town for a him but all of those plans had to be dropped once his ex showed up pregnant.

Anyone who meets Charlotte Mae Parker should know this cardinal rule; never, ever call her with her full name because she absolutely hates it. The only daughter of outspoken school principal Nicole Parker and agreeable accountant Robert Parker, Charlie was born in New Orleans. She has an older half sister from her dad’s previous marriage, whom she barely knows. Despite meeting handful of times, two sisters couldn’t form a strong bond because they were simply too different. Her older sister Carol lives in a different state and she rarely visits her father. Everything between Charlie and her parents were fine until her mother decided to send her to Catholic high school, not because they were deeply religious, simply because the school’s academic success. No matter how much she begged her parents, she found herself in Ursuline Academy.
During her high school years, Charlie developed an interest in metal music, goth culture and black clothing. She would listen to Nine Inch Nails or Marilyn Manson on a loop, gush about their talent as much as possible. Of course, Charlie’s interests weren’t very welcomed in her high school, she would often find herself in trouble because she refused to obey or follow rules. While she was the most troubled one in her class, Charlie also was a straight A student, academics always came natural to her, especially math. After countless detentions, fights with her family, bittersweet memories, loud rants and angry debates, Charlie finally graduated from high school and got into Savannah College of Art and Design, where she studied animation — which was a dream of hers ever since she has seen The Nightmare Before Christmas. Anyone who has been around Charlie would know her admiration for Tim Burton, hell she even has two tattoos dedicated to him and his work. Unlike high school, college was a blast for her, she never wanted to leave but just like all the good things, her college education came to an end.
After graduation, Charlie moved to Los Angeles and started living with a girl named Valerie, who was an aspiring playwright, they quickly become close friends. Around that time, her parents moved to a small town in Alabama due to her mother’s new job, which was a decision Charlie very much disapproved. A year of intense job searching and unemployment, her parents told her that they can not support her financially, so Charlie had to put her dreams on hold and moved back to her parents’ house. The Parkers quickly became one of the beloved families in town and that’s only because of Charlie’s mother, Nicole Parker, who was a high school principal and very active member of the community. She was nice to her neighbors, did charity and went to Church every Sunday. While many people called her a darling, also there were handful of people who find her intimidating – with a reason of course. Living in a small town caused so much stress for her and her parents, especially because of outspoken nature and unorthodox opinions. Even though Charlie only lived there briefly, she quickly became a subject of certain rumors – thanks to her love for black clothing, metal music and aloof behavior. Sure, technically she’s a satanist but not the type people usually assumed. She didn’t worship devil, she simply rejected the existence of God. And yes, she was a member of The Satanic Temple but that organization is very different than LeVeyan Satanism. Her open dislike towards Southern traditionalism and Church was the reason many elder people disliked her, hell they even warned their grandkids about Charlie. Fortunately, her exile came to an end when Charlie landed a job as an assistant animator in a movie that one of her college professors were going to work in.
