a curse among us || thalia & charlotte

Thalia was glowing. No, literally, she was glowing. Light was literally emitting from her skin, her tiny little body was swallowed in light so bright. Of course, her costume was Tinkerbell, but she never thought she’d actually turn into a Tinkerbell fairy. All miniature in size, wings protruding from her back with her short, green dress fitting her small frame quite nicely. But still, Thalia was glowing. Glowing. The party had started off fine enough, with lots of dancing and food, and oh lord the non-alcoholic beverages were to die for, surely they were better than the alcoholic drinks? Who knew. Then the clock struck twelve and instead of being a regular person with wings attached to the back of her with elastic, they grew part of her as she shrunk in size. ”Um, you’re like… Hello? Can you hear me? I’m up here! Do you know what’s happening?” Her squeaky voice called out from above, her wings fluttering behind her.
Charlotte looked down at her costume. She back up to see if she was in danger. The room was filled with people who were just as confused as she was. They were all trying to figure out the same thing Charlotte had figured out moments ago. They had actually turned into their costumes. She found it hysterical. Especially since she couldn't see herself in any other costume. This was Barton Hollow and at least one person in town knew how to do the holiday.
She felt a voice in her ear. Perhaps she was just drunk, but she turned around to see a glowing little fairy beside her. With all the paint on her face, she couldn't really see who it was, but she was actually seeing a fairy in front of her. The warrior druid smiled at the small fairy, trying not to seem as if she was scary, but with her costume, she wasn't so sure that she was coming across as friendly.
"Aye, I can hear you little fairy." Charlotte looked around the room once more. "If my eyes do not deceive me, I believe that we have all under a curse!" the white hair fell around her shoulders as she turned back to the small creature. "Do you need help little one?" she questioned.
