The Other Moon - Doom 1, backwards!

Doesn't look like I wrote about it on this blog before... oops. My progress on this mod has been very slow, but you better believe it's coming!

Deimos means "Dread" and Phobos means "Panic" - so wouldn't it make more sense for the latter to be the setting on Doom's hellish second episode? That's what The Other Moon is about! But first, you get to the trek through the less corrupted version of the Deimos moonbase...

Thanks for asking! I made a few additions (mostly sprite swaps), but I never published them. Nowadays, I'm mostly moving away from RPG Maker as a whole in favor of Godot. But I'm not ruling out a spiritual sequel in the future...

What's up. I made a GODOT GAME. For a GAME JAM.

Scale a scaly sculpture built to scale, and rescale yourself too!

It's a nonlinear puzzle platformer about a bunch of draconic minions making a giant statue! I didn't think I'd be able to make a game in 96 hours, let alone in an engine I've only really been using for a few months. But with the help of my friends and a bit of determination... here it is.

I'm close to done with my vanilla doom mod set in Yangshuo County... including a recreation of the Moon Hill. Not much I could do to really do it justice, but I'm pleased with the end result.

It will also incorporate my Bite-Sized Threat gameplay mod, which dramatically reduces both enemy health and ammo supply.

I actually FINISHED a rpg maker game! Is that cool or what?! It's got gathering, crafting and selling. No combat though.

Maybe I'll release an English language version at some point in the future.
