In the year 2097, humans control HARs (Human Assisted Robots) and, uh, I guess fight each other in tournament combat. BUT! In Doom Must Fall, you're a bounty hunter who has been hired to oust a pirate organization named Iron Fist from its fortress. You get close when the pirates start teleporting invaders onto your personal spacecraft. You have to fend them off before you counterattack, beaming into their labyrinthine structure.
This TC is a fangame of one of Epic's lesser-known properties. If you've played Hell to Pay then you may be familiar with Mackey's 3D modelling of sprites already. I think that it looks a little better here because there are no clashes with Doom's original sprites. E2M8--E1M1 in the repackaging--is a cool, wildly abstract outing that reminds me of crazy early 3D-rendered games.
