Personal opinion about Taylor being gay and ācoming outā.

Random thoughts on my way back home from workā¦
Taylor is smart. (Clever. Intelligent. Call her what you want)
Creatively smart and business smart. Thatās nothing new, I know, just a reminder that got me thinking and reflect on things.
Some people paint her label or her parents as the ones keeping her closeted and not letting her be. And maybe that was partially true when she was younger. I mean, she was smart, but she was also young and when we are young we sometimes get carried away and other things can cloud our smart thoughts or plans. But I believe that she is the one keeping herself āinā.
Letās be honest,Ā (sadly) if Taylor would have ācame outā earlier in her career or a few years after her first albums, she would have never reached this level of success and stardom.
She is a great storyteller and in order to succeed in this world and in this business, she created a story for herself.
She created a script and played her part. She sold it to the world and the public/the media bought it. It has had ups and down, she has made mistakes (as we all do), but she has always come up on top. Because she is smart and knows how to play. Plus she has learned with the years and experience.
Her plan was/is to succeed doing what she likes and she is good at. This goal is clear, but she is also a very thoughtful and caring person. When she does things, she does them when the time is right and when she knows they will have an impact or a purpose.
I think that besides the impact of her coming out would have on her career (business wise), she is also very aware of the impact it could have into the world, the public, her fans.
My point here and what Iām trying to get at, is that if (Iām not saying she has to) Taylor ācomes out ā/āstops hiding she like womenā, it will be when she feels that the time is right to make a social impact and have a purpose.
Coming out at the beginning wouldnāt have had much of an impact beside wrecking her career. Coming out after 4 of 5 years would have just jeopardise her business path and have a small impact socially. It would had been a scandal, but people would have forgotten soon after.
Now she is in another level.
She has reached the top and continues to be on top of the business. Critically and monetary.
She haa power and influence.
Coming out now or in a near future could have such an important impact. It could be another āmilestonesā for LGBTQ+ people. Another āEllen Degeneres momentā in some level.
She will do it when she is ready and she will do it in a way that will feel right and organic.
Some people is going to wonder why she hasnāt done it earlier? Why did she hide it for so long? Why she has āliedā?
Well, besides the obvious reasons, which I already explained, I would like to remind everyone that Ellen was 40 years old when she came out. I donāt want to compare and I know that the world was different 20 years ago. Luckily things have changed and progressed, but has it really?. Coming out is still an issue for many, otherwise we wouldnāt be talking about it, so many things still need to change and more impactful & powerful moments will have to happen in order to educate and change people and history.
Taylor Swift has/could have the power to do this.
It wonāt be A moment, it wonāt be a āYep, Iām gayā situation. Itās going to be a progression and a well crafted process.
As I said before, she is a great storyteller and she will tell this story as well.
I mean, I honestly believe she has been telling us THAT story for years, but she has masterfully āhide itā behind the OTHER story, the one created to sell her music to a wider audience.
When she unveils her real story more people is going to realize that she has actually been telling us that story for years, but many were blind to it.
I canāt wait for the general realization.
I know more and more people are starting to realize it this era. Itās really amazing to watch.
Itās fun to read peopleās stories telling how and when they realized.
Instead of one big coming out moment, itās like seeing many individuals moments of Taylor coming out to each person individually.
Isnāt that amazing!?
She is a music genius (well respected musicians have said it), she is beautiful, she is successful, but what gets me, what Iām totally amazed by, itās her creative & masterful mind behind it all.

I got a notification that someone liked the post today and went back to it.
Many things have happened since then, but I could have written the same after she released āLoverā and now after āfolkloreā.
