Oliver’s head sort of wagged from one side to the next as he nodded. He knew what she meant about people stealing ideas, but he also knew there was some way to get rights to ideas that earned money. How, well, that was for lawyers to know, not him. “Yeah, but doing it just one month out of the year, the overhead might be too much for it to be a solo venture. It might have to be a part of something else, like another tour company or something.” It was all hypothetical, so he wasn’t really sure why he was putting any sort of serious thought into it. Flopping back into the grass, he tucked his hands behind his head, his shoulders scrunching up before settling back into a relaxed position. “You know plenty. Maybe not about the tourist stuff, but neither do I. You’re a hell of a lot smarter than I am, though,” he said simply before adding with a slight smile, in spite of his words, “One can hope, but my plan had been to run here, do a loop of the park, and head home, but I barely made it here, so my prospects in getting healthy and in shape for the next season are looking kind of meager, at the moment.”
“You’d only do it for one month? I was thinking more of a constant kind of thing, I can see why overheads would be a little out of reach. Mm, then you’d have to split revenue. Business, right? Too much for me.” Thinking through the logistics of things, really made her glad that she didn’t follow in her father’s footsteps. He’d know exactly how to get an idea such as what they were discussing off the ground, after telling her their would be ‘bigger fish, Charlotte.’ She rolled her eyes at the thought of him and his attitude. “I mean, if you’re curious about what species of fish and coral are around then and the impact of humans then I’m your gal,” she chuckled to herself, “Thank you, that’s very kind of you. At least you have hand eye coordination, I tend to lack a lot.” No matter how much Calli tried to train her to help her, she’d come to the realisation that it just wasn’t for her. “It just takes time, right? Which I know can be frustrating. What was the original prognosis?”
