SLU Clinical Laboratories Complete Rotation:
I guess this rotation was the happiest and the most cheerful group I've ever been in my College life, yet this group merely the one they called: naughty, rule breakers, aggressive, wisest, and the fastest... Perhaps one of the six has a very vivid memory when it comes to cell identification (I hope you know whom I referring to).
Starting from the first photo, BloodBank... Why not? this is our first section the heaven section, I know you wont forget this; [I am referring to our Cross Matching, and cells just don't agglutinate and we made it illegally agglutinated with the use of proper AHG High Grade! and our Supervisor, I dont know if she had noticed it]
Third photo: 2nd section Histopath, I really love this month, when all of us were really the wisest one! starting from grossing to fixation until staining... i claimed this as we the fastest, cleanest slides, and most cheerful yet always given demerits and the cause of all noise in the laboratory! that's US!. but we never too weak! especially the most special member of this group.
Our life rotates in Microbiology as the speed of sounds, 1 week we were all done with our cultures... why not if you have the skills and moves! until our life gets miserable and so on. However Clinical Microscopy gives us nerves and excitements everyday! Parasitology gives us the oppurtunity to visualize Strongyloides stercoralis larvae [Celber never forget this short buccal cavity, with large genital primordium, and the Tail! the Tail Faye... notched but not that notched]
Hell months! Clinical Chemistry II, we changed! stressed, depressed, and oppressed MAD... fighting... why? the reason: Spectrophotometer demand! but these emotions and sudden behavioural changed was disappeared as we moved on to Hematology, that we really enjoyed it so much, especially in Differential counting, Identification of Plasmodia spp, quotas, etc...
And this Last photo! Clinical Chemistry I... the heaven below heaven... as our feelings and Adrenalins reach its peak [berserk mode happiness]... BOOM! tissue substitution technique related phlebotomy! 18hours BOOM!... however we were still strong as it was from the beginning and more cheerful than ever...
These rotations gave us the opportunity in every section to hone our skills and our knowledge related to the section... we might did something illegal and naughty business as everyone does, this doesn't mean that we are not viable Scientists in the future... and besides we do not represent every MISTAKES!... ahahha;-) This just prove that as we grow from our profession we were exposed to both positive and negative views that soon enough we will use these as our guide as we seek and find the true meaning of our life. To the time that we will pass these good memories to the next generation of our bloodline. We will see again someday!
Bon chance mon amis! Merci beaucoup parce que vous avez recontre!!!...
