The green blood from the demon that Cole had just vanquished flew from the other side of the room and all over his face and chest. Chuckling uncontrollably to himself Cole started to wipe it down from his face so that he had clear vision again. The laughter slowly came to a halt as Cole now started feeling regret, deep regret as the last time him and the sisters stood up to a demon together, that demon cursed Cole and made his powers weaken so they won’t be happy that he has come here alone - especially without Phoebe. Groaning he turned his head away from the mess and shimmered inside of the halliwell manor to Phoebe’s bedroom and started to wash himself properly. Knowing him he probably missed a bit and Phoebe would catch him and question him without mercy.
Walking out of the on suite bathroom he then sat down on the bed that him and Phoebe had spent so many glorious nights christening every new bedsheet they had to buy as all the other ones were rusty and well used. Wondering what Phoebe will think Cole sat there and pondered on his living hell life.
Had the floorboards in the hallway been anything other than solid oak Phoebe’s frantic pacing surely would have worn a hole right through them by now, in—despite of her elder sisters words of comfort she could not help but worry over Cole, especially since their last demonic encounter had left his demonic side almost non-existent, a fact that Phoebe knew her demonic lover was wrestling with, perhaps it was male pride that foolishly urged him to leave the manner and go demon hunting without protection, or he simply had a point to prove to her, either way phoebe was furious and if the demon in her vision hadn’t killed Cole already she would see to it that she would kick his ass all the way to timbuktu. “Cole?” There was urgency in her voice as she picked up on feet scuffing behind the closed door to her room, without hesitation she burst through the door, slamming it shut behind her. Fury turned to relief and back again as her eyes met his and she marched over to the bed, heels clacking against the floor as tiny hands balled into half clenched fists and without any real power she nudged him harshly. “How could you, I’ve been worried sick, You know i have half a mind too....” She trailed off as fury subsided and love swelled in her heart again, without another word her lips collided with Coles passionately, body melting with his own as she wrapped her arms around his broad shoulders in a tight embrace, one that stated quite clearly she was never going to let go again, or at the very least not let him out of her sight in the near future.
