Mumen saves Metal Bat’s little sister around the time the Hero Association just started, Metal Bat isn’t a hero yet

she joins the fan club and Metal Bat gets jealous and decides to find this guy

He finds Mumen but can never get him a lone b/c the guy is ALWAYS helping people wtf and then Metal Bat slowly gets charmed by the bastard and asks his sister about him and maybe tells her things he saw “totally on accident he’s not stalking the man”

then maybe he walks in on Mumen losing a battle and steps in to help and hey maybe I like you a little bit?

Mumen rejects Metal Bat as gently as he can (I mean if its when the HA first started MB would be 14? and Mumen 23?) but says thanks and tells this cheeky stalker that maybe he should become a hero too for his lil sis

Metal Bat not only becomes a hero but now pursue’s Mumen Rider in the work place as well

Their first kiss is (3 years later but before Saitama) after a Dragon level monster and they both end up in the hospital (mumen got caught while evacuating people) MR visits MB and kisses him and MB thinks its all worth it
