We Need To Talk [Closed for soastarlet]
Some of it he doesn’t understand, not completely. But he has no intentions of leaving her after he finally gets her back to herself. Much as there will be some work between them, he loves her and can’t imagine life without her. It’ll take time, but they’ll get through it once she’s better.
"Right now, I don’t want to ask her to do anything but maybe be able to make it out onto her front porch, or maybe her backyard. And we don’t know how good or bad she’s been eating, so bringing food sounds really good. We can…always stop at the toy shop real quick and pick up something stuffed for Si too, use it as a way to let her let us in, so we can give it to the baby?" She wants to be prepared for any needed option that will get them through the door, and maybe if food and family won’t appeal to Katie, something for Sienna will.
She just needs help to get better. It's not something that just happens. She needs some help to get there. She needs reassurance and love more than anything, and for people to make her feel like she has to get better. Because right now she's 'comfortable' just being at home with the baby and not going out with her at all.
Tara nods. These are all really great ideas. "That sounds great to me. Get her some fresh air and sunshine. Maybe we'll pick up one of those outside playsets for Sienna too. Something that's meant to be played with outside." More incentive to get her out of the house, and allow Sienna outside as well.

Jax blinked up at Chibs, glad that he’s here and able to answer some questions. Also glad that Chibs can take over looking over Colette while he tries to wrap his brain around the fact that if things went well he could have his wife back. Much as he didn’t want Colette caught in the crossfire, he wanted her back more than anything. His kids needed her, but most of all he needed Tara. She was his compass, and his heart, and he’s been hollow since she died, lost in a sea of feeling too much and not knowing how to sail the sea of his turmoil. “Tell me who killed you, Tara. An’ I’ll make’em bleed for you.” His voice is hard, the killer in him taking over because this is something he can focus on to keep him moving.
He hadn’t meant to startle Tara, but he was told to get here asap, and that’s what he did. Shifting Colette in his arms, he watches the ghost of their current Queen. Half in, half out. With her half complete, there was a chance he’d be able to see her much easier than Jax because he’s been through this.
There’s a quick nod as he turns to carry the blonde in his arms out of the room. Finish with Jax, tell him and speak to him, bu’ don’ take too mu’h longer or ya’ll sta’t ta hurt him mu’h more. We’ll ge’ it done.”
Can she still be considered "current" when she's been dead for months? Or has that title reverted back to who it belonged to before she took the mantle? The person that caused all this trouble and hurt. The person whom she can't name. Can't tell him who did this to her. Who separated their children from their mother. Separated him from his wife.
She looks over at the Scotsman as he walks out. "Doesn't work that way, remember?" she says with a little sad smile before taking a step away from her husband. It's regret that shines in her eyes. "Someone close. Someone you care for. Betrayals from the closest to us hurt the worst..." And that's when she starts to fade. "Find my killer."

It’s an easier way to bring her back, few deaths instead of many, less to wear on her conscious verses the potential innocent people she may hurt by trying to just steal energy to do so. And even now she’s hurting Jax some, little as he’s complaining about it if it means he can see his wife.
Jax’s eyes flutter closed at that breath of a kiss, a faintly choked sob leaving his lips. He wants her back, wants her here and hold-able, and not so damn cold. “I miss you, baby,” he murmurs as he opens his eyes and looks over at her. He blinks as he looks down, wincing at the blood that’s seeping into her dress from the loss of the baby. A part of him hurts for that loss, but a part of him also knows that it probably wouldn’t have worked out anyway. Not when Colette’s heart lay elsewhere and his has never left the ghost of a woman before him. “I’ll… talk to Chibs. Do you know what you need to come back…?”
When all he’d gotten was a 911 from Jax telling him to get to Colette’s there wasn’t a stop sign, stop light, or police officer that would have stopped Chibs from getting there as fast as he could. It’d been eating him up inside watching her cater to Jax, but he didn’t have the heart to ask Jax to stop it, and it wasn’t like Jax was forcing her. The boy had been so damn broken when Tara had been killed and it’d been damn hard to keep him upright and thinking for the club and the boys. So he’d sacrificed for his brother.
The roar of the motor will announce his arrival, though it takes less time than normal for him to fly up the stairs, stilling in the doorway at the sight before him. It’s the question that sinks it all in, gets him to understand what Tara’s trying to do without needing too much to say. “In innocent life, an’ th’ life’o th’ person tha’ did tha’ to’er. Two lives ta trade fer her comin’ ba’k.” Dipping he lifts Colette off the floor, relieved to find her still breathing though he doesn’t like the blood on her dress, or what it means.
When Chibs bursts into the room, it startles her. He's done what she's attempting to manage. And well, he's half in and half out, isn't he? Half dead. She sighs softly when Chibs informs Jax what she needs as he scoops up the crumpled madam and cradles her to his chest. Tara reaches out and touches a lock of Colette's golden hair. "Take her to St. Thomas, Chibs. They'll fix her." Colette's not in too bad of shape, but she's losing blood with the loss of the child.
Tara finally looks back at Jax. "Now you know, Jackson. Find my killer. Chibs knows the words..." she leans to kiss him gently. "Save me."

There’s a low groan of pain as he’s pulled at, body slumping a little as he loses that energy to his dead wife. His nose already starts to drip slowly, though he can’t stop his eyes from staying on her as she materializes, a choked sound slipping from his throat. Feeling her around him, like she never left him, is a lot different than being able to actually see her.
Though Colette fainting draws his attention, catching her before she hits the floor. He’ll lower her down gently before texting Chibs to get here asap, no worrying about cops or speed limits. “Tara…H…how? Have you… been here the whole time…?” Once his phone is tucked safely in his pocket he reaches out, almost like he’s praying he’ll be able to touch her. “Glasgow Smile… I’ll ask… will she be alright?”
It should be harder to stay conscious, but he’s stubborn and ignoring the blood dripping from his nose as she stays visible. He doesn’t want to lose any time from her.
This is not the way for her to stay. She could pull enough energy from people she's around to stay, but it would kill them in the end. There will be two deaths, the way she wants to come back, instead of many.
She watches him settle the woman on the floor and then sending a text. She's hoping to Chibs, who will be able to explain better than she can. "I can't say. Not now. And the longer I stay visible to you, the more damage I'm doing to you." Tara moves toward him, and presses her lips, cold, and more like a breath of air than lips, to his cheek before she bends down over Colette. "She will be fine. The baby...," she trails off as Colette's short dress becomes red. "Was necessary."
If you want to plot with any of my girls: Tara, Katie or Colette, my ask is open!
Getting ready for work
But if you want to plot with any of my girls: Tara, Katie, or Colette...please, please please, like this or send me an ask.
We Need To Talk [Closed for soastarlet]
He’s trying so hard to not show how hard it is when he’s around Katie, because he knows she’s going through so much. But it is hard, and he’s snippier around the guys and he is trying everything he knows to help any way he can. But he’s only one man. And Katie needs more help than he knows how to give.
Reaching, Alexis covers her mother’s hand and squeezes gently. “Why don’t we head over there and see if she’ll talk to me now then. Because it can’t wait, and we need to get to her.” She doesn’t want anything to happen to her sister or the baby. Not in the slightest.
It's sad, but true. It's going to take a lot to bring her back to herself. Tara's just hoping when it's all said and done, Ian will understand that Katie was going through some bad shit, and let it go rather than holding it all against her. Because the last thing Katie's going to need is Ian leaving her because she's too much work.
Tara squeezes back and nods a little. "Sure. I'll place an order to go, for us and for Katie and see what we can do. Might as well have some food is we're going to be there all day." They're going to need it. It's going to be a battle just walking through the door.
PEACE OUT

There’s something in there with them. Could Tara really be there? Tortured with this latest betrayal? No. That had to be her mind playing tricks. Emotional. Maybe it’s the wind.
No.
Wind doesn’t throw pictures off the wall.
Colette cries out, blood running down from her nose, and clings to Jax. “Get…me out…of here,” she says, voice slurred as she gets dizzy. ”Take me…to Filip?” If she were more with it, she’d never ask for Chibs to Jax. But there it is.
He would have taken the blow for Tara if he’d been there, but everything had gone wrong that day. He never should have let her out of his sight before she made it out safely. But he really hadn’t expected to have anyone attack her, not when he was working on it to start with. The room is feeling heavy and there’s a wince that says he can almost hear Tara as she rages and yells at him. Bits and pieces are coming through, mainly that angry voice.
That picture off the wall as his head turn away from where he thinks Tara is, wincing again at the sgould of it crashing. Though Colette’s words draw him back to her.
A part of him says he should be hurt she’s asking for Chibs, that she’s wanting someone that isn’t him. But all he does is nod a little and slip his arm a little more solidly around her. “Come on…” His gaze glances back over to where he thinks Tara’s standing, wishing he could see her. “Tara… please stop this.” Because there’s no doubt in his mind that it’s her, the voice is too close to hers to be anyone else’s, and he can’t think of anyone else that would be this pissed off at him.
Tara finally slumps when he asks her to stop. When he speaks to her. He knows she's there. Moving towards him, she reaches out, pulling energy from the three people in the room enough to start to become corporeal. The two adults will be fine---bloody noses will be the worst, but well, the baby has to die for the ritual anyway.
When she pulls enough to make sure he can see her, she looks tired. Dressed in white---a woman in white---her hair cut long again and framing her face much more delicately than usual. "Jax," she whispers. "Talk to Chibs...ask him about Belfast." She gestures to her cheeks, a slicing upwards motion. "About what came after his Glasgow Smile."
We Need To Talk [Closed for soastarlet]
Ian’s been afraid to leave her too long right now because of everything, and he’s just glad that her father understands, as does the rest of the club. They’re making allowances for him because he needs to be there for Katie when no one else is being allowed to be near her or Sienna. But he’ll be glad that Alexis is here to help.
He wants to be able to bring his daughter to TM, to show them the new baby girl that’s in their lives. But also to bring Katie with him and show them that she’s alright, that she’s better. It’ll do the wonders for Katie to actually get out, and talk to other people.
"I’ll certainly try my best. And if nothing else, we can break me into her house and refuse to leave." Because god knows Alexis could be stubborn sometimes, and in this she’d willingly out stubborn her sister. Anything to help get Katie better, honestly. "When do we start trying?"
He needs a reprieve from Katie duty. Even Katie's aware that she's putting way too much on her husband but she can't help it. It's hard on on him. She loves him and Si so much that it tears her heart up even more that she's being such a burden on him.
Tara sighs softly. "She needs something. I don't even know what, but she's going to do something stupid if we don't get her out of there soon. I'm really worried, Alexis. I'm afraid for her."
For future reference
If I disagree with you on something, or whatever...I will respond openly. I don't fool around with hiding behind an anon to do it. Just ain't my style, man.
I really like Dark Magics.
That is all.

She notices the distraction, but in the state she’s in, she doesn’t let it register. She bypasses it. She leans into his fingers, her eyes welling a little bit. ”I’m sorry, Jax. I…I didn’t think it’d happen, but…I’m pregnant.” There. She’s said it. She’s told him what her bad news is. What will screw up her budding relationship with his VP (whom she’s been having coffee with three mornings every week), and even with him. Who would want her to be pregnant?
The crash of her lamp off her desk makes her jump slightly. But it’s when the windows open and tear the curtains down that she has to say she’s afraid. ”I…Jax? Please…don’t be mad.”
His mouth forms the words ‘Belfast’ and ‘came back’, it’s enough to make his mind wonder about Chibs some. Only some though. The bits that he caught, in a voice that he shouldn’t be able to hear, it’s got his attention, head canted just slightly in the direction Tara stood when she said them. And then he’s blinking as Colette’s words sink in and his eyes widen as he looks at the blonde. He hasn’t been aware of the coffee and meeting with Chibs, but he’s lucky to know what is currently going on with himself, with his children. “Pregnant…?”
His head whips to the side as the lamp jumps mysteriously off her desk, and then turns her away from those windows as the curtains come down, like he can protect her from whatever unseen force is in the room with them. “I think… stunned is… more the word.” He doesn’t know how he can do a fifth child, he’s barely managing his four now. He hadn’t known that she could still have kids. And most importantly, he can see a punch to his face from Chibs for this. But he’s not mad. Brain dead from the news is definitely more accurate. His hand slides over his face as he tries to wrap his head around this. “Pregnant. God. I…” He’s not sure what to say, what she’d want him to say. He’s aware enough to know that the two of them aren’t really a couple, that they really didn’t have a future because his heart was hollow, too Tara’s still and she belonged to someone else.
Rage and hurt. RAGE. Tara doesn't know what to do. There's not enough things in the entire world to tear apart. She screams, shoving the rest of the papers and personal mementos of that whore of his, right onto the floor. He's curled around her, protecting her. Why didn't he protect ME?! Why didn't HE SAVE ME!!!
"Jax! You let me die! You let your mother take care of those boys after she killed me! And had that stupid, suicidal idiot cover it up! And you believed it! And slept with this slut!" She can't even help it. That rage she's been holding back, that's held her on a razor's edge since she died is pouring out of her like tar, sticky and coating everything around her.
Ripping a tacky print off the wall, she flings it across the room. "Save me, or so help me God, I'll kill her."
