//And yes, my goal is to have her up and running by her birthday tomorrow.
//So I will be bringing Kat back but it’s going to be on a different blog. Right now, I’m feeling the need to purge a lot of my blogs -- just general feelings of ickiness associated with old partners (none of you still around, I promise). So once I have the new blog set up (which will most likely be dash only as I am over themes right now), I’ll link it up.
I am also back on my bullshit and will probably be doing a re-watch.
//So question for the masses (or those of you that still follow me); if I was to bring Kat back...should I continue on this blog or start fresh on a new blog?
Tommy laughed and nodded. “Yeah, that’s what I meant.” He answered. Until now he had been very discrete with the ones he had fallen in love with and he wanted to keep it that way. He wanted as little involvement as possible from his mother, although he thought that he could trust Kat.
“I hope to keep out of trouble… Do you think that I should stay in this town, Kat?” He asked then. “Why do you stay?”
“I think I’d miss you if you left. I think family’s important and with it being just you, me, and Jax...it’s important for the three of us to be together.” Yeah, there was also their mom. The club. But let’s be real. At the end of the day, the only people the Teller siblings could truly trust were one another. “But I also think, that at the end of the day, you need to do what’s best for you. If staying here means you’re just going to be miserable...”
Their mother had felt the need to leave Charming once too. But in the end, it had brought her back. She could only hope it would do the same for Tommy should he chose to go.
“Me? Cause of Jax. Jax, you, Opie...the boys...everyone that I love and care about. They’re all here. Why would I go anywhere else?”
“I think I can do this one alone, but I’ll text you when you need the help.” Tommy answered with a nod. He was cool with Kat being there if he talked with their mom, but he hoped that there would come a moment when he could take her on on his own. He’d always be her little boy and it had started to annoy him.
He gave Kat a knowing glance. “‘Spending time’, does that mean, ‘making out’?” He asked then as he tried not to smile. Tommy had seen the eyes Kat almost constantly made at Jax’ best friend. “I see things, sis.”
“Not always!” Sometimes, yeah. Sometimes it meant making out. But others? “Sometimes we just drink, talk...he sits with me while I paint, listens while I scream about Clay. You know, Opie stuff.” Opie stuff. Cause that explained it.
As for their mom... “She’ll come around. It’ll take some time...but she’ll get there. Promise.”
“Yeah, I know.” Tommy was aware that Gemma’s tone didn’t change much. it didn’t matter to which of the three children she spoke, she always thought that she knew best. The youngest Teller was getting sick of it, just like the two older Tellers.
“Opie? What are you doing with him?” He asked with a small frown. “Kat… the man just got out of prison, he’s trying to reconnect with his wife. Shouldn’t you lay low for a while?”
And there it was, the small roll of eyes as Tommy mentioned Donna. “Now you sound like Mom. And Jax.” Jax who had told her in no uncertain terms to stay the fuck away from certain parts of Opie’s anatomy (as he knew telling her to stay away from Opie in general was a lost cause). Gemma had been a bit more gentle about it, but her message had been clear. Kat needed to be all in. If she went after Opie now, she needed to be ready to deal with everything that came with it.
“And come on...Donna’s never been right for him. You know that. Everyone knows that.” It was her and Opie that belonged together. She just...she just took a little longer to realize it than she should have.

Following her father’s gaze, the blonde frowned. Ever since Tommy...there’d been a weird sort of air in the house, a tension between her parents that she didn’t quite understand. It made her desire to be in the house less and less. The Clubhouse, however. That she was still all about. Her, Jax, Opie...wasting time when they probably should have been studying. Jax talking big about he was gonna have a kutte of his own someday.
It made Kat roll her eyes.
But then JT and some of the others would come in and she’d perch herself on the arm of whatever chair her dad was sitting on, listening to the talk...the stories....
“Maybe you should tell that to Jax.” And here was where her bitter tone matched her father’s. Her desire to have a boyfriend stemming more from Jax and Opie’s discovering girls...and girls who were not her...than from her own desire to be in a relationship. “Pretty sure he doesn’t realize there’s a world outside Tara’s tits right now.”
Closed {Cory & Kat}
Charming lived up to its name more often than not, it was a bigger city than Jeffery was and hosted a whole different kind of people. The bikers were the first thing he had noticed, the town was obsessed with them. Yet somehow split down the middle of loving or hating them, Cory hadn’t been around long enough to really feel either way. The cowboy lived just outside of town on his uncle’s old farm, he sold it to Cory for a reasonable price and let him keep the small house on it too. So, he tried to avoid town as much as he could.
Most friday nights however, he found himself visiting the bars after selling what he could to local places, milk or beef from his cattle. That night had been worth celebrating. Downing his second drink he had a buzz he could ride out a little while then be alright to take himself home. It was then he heard the motorcycles pulling up, he figured it was the Sons or whatever their name was, but by the looks of the partons it was someone entirely different.
A few hispanic looking men walked in blocking the door and Cory thought nothing of it until he heard some other men shouting outside. Unwilling to ignore it he left some cash on the counter and nodded to both men before putting on his hat, they didn’t stop him. Stepping out his eyes grew realizing two of them were backing a woman against the alley wall of the bar. His jaw tightened as he walked over, “You boys look lost,” he spoke lowly. One of them spat at him before turning the attention back to the girl, she was a cute blonde who looked like she got a few good punches in.
“I think I misspoke, leave the girl alone now,” that got their attention one came at him quick reaching for his gun, Cory was quick to draw his and aimed for the young man’s head stopping him in his tracks, “Back down kid.”
It wasn’t the first time Mayans had come into the bar -- normally they just ordered a few drinks, nothing too troublesome. But she knew they knew who she was. Just as she knew who they were. There was always the chance something like tonight would happen. That the time would come they needed to send a message to the Sons and that when they did, she would be their preferred method of delivery.
She had been leaving. Walking back to her car (which she parked in the alley) when they cornered her. Which...fine. Whatever. Nothing she couldn’t handle. Though in true Teller style, handling it meant getting her ass beat while throwing in as many good punches as she could manage.
And she managed quite a bit. But that didn’t mean she wasn’t grateful when Cory intervened. As the bikers backed down, she wiped the blood from her mouth, looking up to take in her saviour. “Thanks.”
“I’ll make you your favourite food, how about that?” Tommy asked as he looked at his sister. Having been home for a lot of his childhood he was actually quite good at what was seen as the ‘womanly’ tasks in the house. He closed his eyes when Kat talked and he nodded slowly.
“Yeah, I know… I’ll get her to agree when she sees I feel well again.” He sat himself up a little and patted the bed. “How are you? I haven’t seen you in a while.”
“If you want me there when you talk to her, just say the word. I’ll totally back you up.” Because that’s what they did. The two of them and Jax. Backed one another up.
And yes, she will totally take her favourite food as payment. Thanks.
“Me? Oh, you know...I’ve been around. Putting in shifts at the shop, the bar, spending time with Opie...”
“What did I tell you about leaving your laundry out with thong panties and bras hanging around on top of the machine? I’m not getting a thrill… But they’re only men, baby. No such thing as off-limits; you give them boundaries, unless you’re looking to pick somebody up…”
“I would hope it would take more than a few panties to get them riled up. Well, maybe not the prospects, but still...” If Tig or Happy got over excited by her laundry, then both of them seriously needed to get laid. And not by her. There was only one SAMCRO member she was interested in.
“And besides, they’re sitting there because of the prospects. Jax said they’d do my laundry. I think he’s running out of ways to torture them.”
Ghost TommyxKat
Tommy laughed when his big sister made a remark which was not all that far from the truth. “I wasn’t murdered…” He answered as he sat down on the back of the bed, not too close to Kat. He didn’t want to freak her out, even though in her condition that probably would take more than just him sitting there.
“Well, I just assume that I wasn’t… but I don’t think that anyone would do that to a kid of six.” He obviously didn’t look like that kid anymore, which would make it difficult for Kat to know who he was. “I just wanted to check up on my big sister, make sure that you were ok. You’ve been struggling, lovely.”
Was he sure? Cause Kat was pretty sure the paper was filled with stories of kids getting murdered. And had he been murdered, Kat would have someplace to direct her anger. Cause right now she had nothing. He was gone. Their dad was gone. And she had nothing. No place to lash out except at their mother and her new husband.
Fuck that was so messed up. Had she fucking even waited for the body to cool?
“Me? I’m fine. Peachy even. What makes you think I’m not...” You know, besides everything?
Allison’s head snaps up to meet her sister’s gaze, unsure if she had just heard Kat correctly. “ Clay’s… ” her voice trails off as she begins to stare off into nothing. The day that she’d been hoping for since her teenage years had finally come to fruition, but the feelings that had been with that hope were nowhere to be found. She knew that it was bad karma to wish death on anyone, but after finding out what had actually happened with JT… That had just added to her hate for the man. Her past thoughts of joy, tears of happiness, and running around the house singing ‘ding dong the bastards dead’ had been quickly replaced with feeling empty and somewhat lost.
“ When? Wh-what happened? ”
Right? It was weird. When he had been alive, all Kat had wanted was for him to rot in hell. Or so she told anyone who would listen. But now that he was gone...there was nothing. No joy. No sadness. Just...nothing.
Though it was possible she was still processing. Realizing that ‘love him or leave him’, a person she had seen almost every day since she was fifteen was no longer going to be there.
“There was a mayhem vote. Unanimous thanks to mess with the Irish. And per the mayhem vote, he was executed. In front of the club.” And her. And her mother. Though she didn’t feel the need to tell Allison that just yet. Her mother being there had been unfortunate. Kat...Kat had asked to be there. To stand beside Jax and see it through.
He huffed out a chuckle and shook his head at her. No. Not a chance to pass by ragging on Clay.
Jax shifted from one foot to the other, frowning at her. “No. You need to be the one who ends this shit. You know him.” His friend was weak when it came to women. His sister. Stupid man.
“Then he’s a fucking idiot. You aren’t his wife. He’s got kids to think of. Jesus.”
"Jax...” Ending it was easier said than done. Had it been anyone else, she would have agreed. No problem. But this was...
It was Opie.
“I know I’m not his wife.” But she could have been. Had she not been such a mess back then. “But he and Donna aren’t exactly living the life of marital bliss right now. She’s never been a part of this...part of the club. She’s never understood our ways. Understood him...”
“She’s used to talking to me over my head, you know. She doesn’t really expect me to listen, still thinks I’m a six year old.” It came in handy at times when he needed some information. He tilted his head when Kat explained about the zombie beavers and rolled his eyes.
“I guess… I’ll probably be asleep somewhere halfway anyway. Just give me a nudge when I start to snore.” He had been tired that day and he knew that he had been pushing himself too hard. “how are you, sis? I haven’t seen much of you with the litttle one coming along.”
“She’s like that with all of us.” Tommy a little bit moreso, but Gemma still treated all of them like they were children. Like they were going to just do as she said without question. It had led to more than a few fights when she found out that wasn’t the case.
“I’m good. Keeping busy helping Jax with Abel. But Mom has him today so here I am. Free from Teller-Morrow and with nothing to do except laze about on the couch and watch bad horror movies with my little brother. At least until Ope calls.”
