hey yâall
I just spent the past uhâŠ. 5 hours??? revamping some profiles and completing all of my WIPs that I had in placeâŠ
so if anyone was ever interested in Rping and didnât see something that fit into your tastes, I implore you to peek through, as Iâve added at least 7 new trolls into the mix, and theyâre all beautiful and needing some interaction.
I know my blog isnât exactly mobile-friendly, so if you need a link, feel free to send me a message and Iâll be happy to help.
cheers

She carefully stalked her way up to the hive, doing her best impression of a sneaking cat. She may have been invited, but that didnât mean there wasnât lurking possibilities. One didnât shed sweeps of paranoia just because the hunter had been clever and wonderful in helping her get off the ship. It did lend to her actually visiting his home though, she hadnât been 100% on if sheâd ever visit when she had scurried away to find a less populated (on a planet of two) area to settle herself and her mind. She pressed her back to the door frame, knocking with her knuckles as she watched the land in front of her.
Val opened the door and smiled âoh i wasnât expecting you so soon hello!â
She pressed to the wall a bit harder, tucking her chin against her chest as she split her attention to him from her watching. She couldnât stop a small smile though, he hadnât gotten weird on her at least. âHiâŠâ she blinked a bit at the comment, âSorry, if I should have waited I can go..â
âNo come in! Canât turn you away it wouldnât be right!â He waves her in, opening the door. He wasnât sure why she was here but he was happy to see her.
She quick stepped thru the door and moved so she wasnât in his space, but hesitated to move further into his hive without permission. âIf you say soâŠâ she hadnât exacly had visitors pre-enlistment and fleet didnât teach visitor etiquette so sheâd take his word for it. She was just happy the invite had been genuine.
He smiles happily and shuts the door âare you hungry? Has your exodus been comfortable?â
She blinked confusion at him for a moment at the questions, âI..I guess I am?â She could eat but that was mostly just travel exertion, she was unused to anyone caring enough to ask was all. She started to fidgeted with her hands, only looking up and around in glances now. âIt has gone well, this is a decently hospitable environment.â
âI know itâs kinda boring. An agriculture world made to feed the empire. But itâs lazy and no one bothers you.â He smiles making her a little platter of breads and cheeses.
She watches, in a subtle for her way, a small smile on her face as he works. Sheâs was huddled in the door, not quite in either room, and almost smacked her head on the doorframe when she shook her head quickly. â âboringâ is new to me, so technically its not. And Iâd be grateful either way so..â she shrugged.
He nods and puts food in front of her. âIm glad you like it here. Im tryin to find a way to stay here longer. Iâm sick of hunting bounties.â
She sits and nibbles at the food slowly, curious about some of it but not enough to ask. âCan you just stop?â She was a little wide eyed, she had been snuck out so stopping was the outcome, but she had no idea what kind of logging checking system his class had.
âWithin reason. If i find a better or at least different profession.â
"Oh...do you have an idea? Like, something you'd rather do?" She cocked her head, genuinely curious even as she popped a cheese cube between her fangs.

Questions About Creating Your OCs
âCause sometimes the stories of how OCs come to be are just as interesting as the OCs, themselves. Tell me how your virtual kids came into the world.
What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)?Â
Did you design them with any other characters/OCs from their universe in mind?Â
How did you choose their name?Â
In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts?Â
Is there any significance behind their hair color?Â
Is there any significance behind their eye color?Â
Is there any significance behind their height?Â
What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story?Â
Are they based off of you, in some way?Â
If they have an LI, how much of their character is tailored to be compatible to that person?Â
Did you know what the OCâs sexuality would be at the time of their creation?Â
What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC (any form of art: writing, drawing, edits, etc.)?Â
How far past the canon events that take place in their world have you extended their story, if at all?Â
If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?Â
What is something about your OC can make you laugh?Â
What is something about your OC can make you cry?Â
Is there some element you regret adding to your OC or their story?Â
What is the most recent thing youâve discovered about your OC?Â
What is your favorite fact about your OC?
ITâS OCTOBERÂ
Itâs not October but I canât not reblog this
If we are RPing together
you do not have to:
get to my thread just because youâre working on other replies
avoid posting often just because weâre both online and itâs your turn
push yourself to write something just because you see me on
I understand:
that sometimes you only get muse for certain threads
you may not know what to reply with at the moment
some threads you have are in an exciting moment and youâd rather put your focus into those
RPing is for fun. Donât force yourself to get stuff done. Your replies are worth the wait.
so let's talk about the cult of the signless
yo fandom! how did you manage to take something so interesting and almost completely disregard it?
the signless! a touching story, right? a mutant, living on the run with his inner circle, persecuted for nothing more than spreading a message of peace.
oh wait? he was also a cult leader who sparked a massive, galaxy-wide sectarian war, attended to by a vast following of apocalypse preppers?
cause, uh, thatâs exactly what he was. (quote 1, quote 2)
the signless was, pretty explicitly, a doomsday prophet. itâs hinted that this is, in part, due to his pre-scratch role as a Seer of Blood. his followers werenât just supporters of caste equality - they believed in his second coming, and moreover, he told them that the second signless (presumably karkat, though the signless didnât know the specifics) was going to lead them to glory. this is a cult! the idea that he wouldnât have wanted people to think of him as somewhat of a holy figure isâŠ. pretty unlikely. he clearly believed himself to be pretty damn cosmically important, to the point where he left instructions for his followers to prepare for his âreturnâ, despite the danger it could put them in.
how do people miss this? the war? the prophecies? itâs all right there in the text! i know everyone loves their cutesy signless crew family stuff - but on the other hand, we hardly ever see this side of him, the cultist, the prophet, the war leader. this stuff is interesting, too!
(quote 3)
also, i donât think we ever found out what the secret encoded in the wavelengths of the Vast Expletive actually was :o
#the fucking symbolism in this whole thing #in the whole situation #like i cant even articulate it it properly #like karkatâs pretty much a doomsday cardinal #and a warning #within the story #the cancer trolls pretty much like #destroy and create shit #i know that be cause im obsessed with them #that this might come off as a product of that obsession #but they like #are literally these once-an-era end of times warning signal #things #like theyâre prophecised anaomolies #that destroy everything #ie #predict the end of the world #destroy that world #and bring them into a new one #which is also the function of the chariot card in tarot #which is the cancer card btw #it id similar to the death card #but really the death card doesnât mean quite the same #the death card signifies something is ending #the chariot is the process of the thing ending and getting you to the next thing #homestuck symbolism gives me an orgasmic aneurism
