Bookworm Raquel Nevarez’s from The Melting Library guided her passion for reading into making handmade candles. Intensely inspired by characters’ personalities, vivid descriptions and some of her favorite literary scenes in history, she reimagines the real-life scent of the scene.

Inspired by the riveting work of impressionist painter Monet, her work aims to mimic the color scheme, intensity and the weather conditions the classical artist worked under.
