I’m not creepy I swear-“  He tried to defend his words, knowing he wasn’t making his case any better, by any means as he attempted to try again. “I’ll keep my eyes in my phone til I get up enough energy to walk back home. I just stopped here to get some fuel, I won’t be here much longer.” He reassured, surely assuming she was only being polite, not wanting to freak her out more than he’s sure he already had.

EDEN CAN FEEL SOMEONES EYES on her. She’s always been good on picking up that sort of stuff. Running a hand through her hair, she glances over at the culprit and smiles sweetly. “You all right there, gorgeous? Can I help you with anything?”

Haven’t having any sleep in the past two days, Chase was leaning on the table inside the quiet cafe. Not many people surrounding him, except a few empty stools and silence, his eyes drifting here and there as the effects in his system began shifting. The chemicals fueling him the past two days, now slowly draining any energy he had going. His eyes staring here and there he hadn’t realized he had now been staring at a girl, just to the left of himself, at her own table of where he was seated.

“Hm?” He hummed inwardly as his brow arched just as his voice level elevated as well. “Oh, I’m sorry, I.. I didn’t realize I was staring. My apologies. I don’t- I don’t mean to seem like a creep.” He explained at first, shifting up from his leaning position on the small table. Light laughter, falling from his lips as his gaze dropped in slight embarrassment, tucking some of his messy curls behind his ear. “I was just zoning out.” He confessed, eyes still low, fixating on his coffee as he reached and took a sip. His eyes flickering back to her giving her a gentle smile, laughter clinging to his lips softly again. “You are- actually very pretty though. Now that, like- I am looking at you.” He sang very sweetly, instantly scrunching his nose slightly under his own words, regretting continuing on. “Annnd, now I actually do seem like a creep, I apologize- I’m sorry- I’ll- I’ll move.” He laughed just as he went to rub at his temple, shutting himself up, reaching for his cup to change his seat.
