ABOUT: Where once was Ben Reilly, there is now only a Chasm. This is a casual ask/rp blog for him!
Chasm is the current state of Ben Reilly in the 616 comics. No, he's not an oc. He's a little bit confused, a little bit lobotomized. He doesn't always remember things exactly as they happened.
We're not sticking to one timeline here. We don't need to make sense! We can get weird. Still, I'm trying to keep as close to canon as possible. (Even when canon doesn't know whats canon. Seriously, I've read every Reilly under the sun and they get messy.)
RULES AND INTERACTION NOTES:
- Will always default to status: In a relationship with Janine Godbe, (Hallow's Eve 616.) So he's not single, even when she's missing. That being said he will crack slightly inappropriate jokes sometimes, and you're welcome to do the same.
- Anything too crazy or offensive, I simply will not respond to. I'm pretty chill. We don't take things too serious here. I generally trust people to be normal. We're (mostly) all adults here, right?
(I'm gonna say 18+, just for potential jokes, but lets be real nobody can stop teenagers on the internet from interacting anyways. Believe me I know. I was a teenager on the internet once too. (Hey teens on the internet! Be safer than I was, okay?) So like I said. We keep it light.)
- Chasm is a bit of a villain! He can be pretty mean sometimes, and I mean absolutely no ill will by any of it! If it offends please do let me know as that is never my intention.
- Ben Reilly is a character with a lot of issues. Possible warnings include references to his disordered eating, suicide attempts, abuse, trauma, and host of mental illnesses. Again, most things will be tagged and if its NOT tagged and needs to be, let me know. I try not to bring these things up too unprompted.
- I don't think DMs are on, and they shouldn't be. All other interactions are welcome.
- Not gonna get NSFW, guys. Like I said. Don't DM me.
- You can bully the bug! Its encouraged even! But believe me I can tell when you just actively dislike the character. Good for you, don't interact.

Because I got out. The only reason it took so long is because I liked the free chips! But they kept shooting at me whenever I got on the ceiling and that was pissing me off.
