Cinema Foundation revealed there'll be a Murzilka movie, called ''Detective Murzilka''.
It will be directed by Maskim Volkov (The Dino Family, Booba), and based on Murzilka - yellow bear like creature, main character of a magazine for kids, that's published since 1924.
Storyline: Boy named Anton becomes closed off from people, his heart is dreaming about fame. Together with his sister, he'll accidentally be a part of the case Murzilka is on - funny fluffy yellow creature, who is searching for mysterious Author. Turns out, the destiny of the magical world called Bookbinding is at stake. To stop a mysterious villain who tries to destroy all Authors, Anton will have to believe in power of imagination again, become a good brother and finish the story they started writing with dad.
Creators note: this is a movie about legacy, art, and how fairytales help us to grow up and believe into human connection again. References/inspiration: Paddington, Cheburashka (Chebi: My Fluffy Friend) and Detective Pikachu.
