Also until May 1st there will be a Draw this in your style mini zine! Where you can draw any Pokémon Jinkas from the zine, and then have it included in a separate new zine releasing late may! Anyone is able to participate, check it out here!

We were randomly assigned Pokémon, and I received shiny Staryu! For my design I went down a rabbit hole about Pokémon's original design inspirations, and in specific how Ultraman was an inspo for Staryu. So I gave them a power suit that also was also functional as a swimming suit, but also had some futuristic spacey vibes, because Staryu gives off wanted to go to space camp but had to go to swim camp instead. Wanted to push towards the alien vibe with the face not being shown, a lot of people have some like parasite theory's for Staryu, so for this Jinka world im thinking what if the Staryu is the gem/suit, and the human is just a host, works with the fact that Staryu are genderless. I did try and make them non binary, pushed a tad more twords male because of Staryus fighting sounds, super manly.

I didnt expect to see this at my local game store today. The Jak X demo disk! Sealed and in perfect condition as well. Im not gona open it but i wonder if it has the same memory card issues lol.

JAK AND DAXTER YOUTOOZ HAS ARRIVED!!

Overall I'm pleased. Idk if its just mine but Daxter is lowkey floating and dosnet help with standing so Jaks front foot is the center of gravity for everything lol.

Also the box is so cute, coming with a sleeve with alternative art, and the inside also has cute details. I really hope they make Jak 2 and 3 Jak since they already got this mold. Maby they can go crazy and make some other characters from jnd, thats a stretch tho lol.
