#Deltora Quest #Sorry Dain I imagined both you and Lief with hair that length but I was only willing to make you suffer through that fringe.#A mix between how I viewed the characters as a kid and how I view them now.#Also just realised I got the grey/brown eyes wrong. In real life I’ve only ever seen grey on the outside brown closer to the centre.

FOOLS! Hero of Alexandria invented a rudimentary steam engine in the first century. Clearly Deltora Quest is set in a universe where people immediately saw its practical use instead of just considering it a party trick.

Had a dream that the Devs were so desperate to get more people to play Powerful Build that they made it break through Sybil’s Tea and let you remember Kaneeka (but only at the last moment- like, three dialogue options before you meet her through the water). I don’t remember everything after that but I do remember that it created a massive rift in the fandom.

Was kind of hoping the AC follower would be revealed a bit more naturally. Like, it’s confirmed there are two Gnosia and three doctors or engineers step up, and they go “Well, let’s just freeze all of them!” Only for things to continue and someone then bringing up that one of the ones who stepped up might be an AC follower, resulting in an explanation and such. (Instead of Yuriko just going “BTW, there’s going to be a human who will lie in this loop.”)

My hopes for scenes in the Gnosia Anime:

- We get an AC Follower during Yuri’s first round as Gnosia.

- Gina confessing to being a gnosia, and her saving the ship at the cost of herself.

- Otome freezing herself when she realises she’s the bug.

- More Yuriko being Terrifying. (Please please include the scene where she kicks Stella out of the meetings, even though we already have the reveal that Stella is LeVi.)

- Some loops where it’s clear that Setsu hasn’t been looping for long.

- A montage of the many, many, many loops it takes to keep Raqio alive until the end (and maybe some of trying to keep both Setsu and Jonas alive.)

- Yuri being more used to the time loop and suspicion than anything outside it due to their amnesia.

Playing Scarlet Hollow yet again, and I really wish you could stop Tabitha from sacrificing herself with Powerful Build (either by rushing past her, or pushing her out of the way before stepping into the light) or Street Smarts (by doing something like ‘(Street Smart) (Lie) “Okay, let’s leave.” Walk into the light’)

theory: the prandine/fallow/3-19 face is the shadow lord's "favourite" because that is what the shadow lord himself used to look like - this would make sense, because the shadow lord is nothing if not self-absorbed and prideful.

somewhat funnier/more perplexing theory: the prandine/fallow/3-19 face is the shadow lord's "favourite" because it resembles someone else. this raises a lot of questions, mostly because the shadow lord has never been shown to give a shit about literally any other person as an individual. is this someone from his past? an enemy? a friend? a lover? did he build this sour-faced twink in a lab because to him this is the ideal physical form? who's to fucking say?

Ooohhhh, leaning into the thought that it’s the face of someone he hates: That the face they have is a “favourite” of the Shadow Lord’s because it’s the face of one of his enemies. Someone he hated enough to enjoy seeing it now follow his every whim and apologising for the slightest missteps.
