Personally, regardless what you think about his music, I believe Macklemore’s success can only mean good things for hip-hop.

The NYTVF and Comedy Central are offering aspiring TV writers and producers the opportunity to win $7,500 and a development deal with Comedy Central. They’re looking for “fun, fresh points of view that fit into the Comedy Central brand of comedy.” All scripted-comedy formats apply, including sitcoms, animated comedy, and scripted panel and game shows. Non-scripted formats are not applicable for this competition, regardless of hilarity.
