Megumi thought it was all over when he summoned Mahoraga that night. With Gojo sealed and the curses rapidly overtaking Shibuya, the lives of the sorcerers seemed to be falling rapidly- his included. When he's instead healed by Sukuna and kidnapped far away from the rest of his friends, he's given a choice: Help Sukuna's plans, or watch Yuji's soul be torn apart.
Out of desperation, he chooses the first option. But even anticipating Sukuna's twisted schemes, he could never prepare for the things he is forced to do.
