Good Morning World

As Black history month comes to an end I look back at everything that has happened over the years. It seems as thought the world is trying to heal but we keep running into people who want to live in the past. All I can say is take it one day at a time.This month we had snow storms come in go and family bonding time.

December Poem

Doctor’s appt

The annual check-up was always uncomfortable 

An ultrasound to check the growth of Mae fibroids

Always made her vulnerable

Mae husband Jack always wanted five boys

As she began to prepare to see what damage

The doctor says you gained some weight

Mae looked at her and said it was the cabbage 

the doctor said to wait

Are you craving it?

Have you missed periods?

Mae thought about it

Nostalgia smells

I was walking in Macy

And all of a sudden I was in a fantasy

Only one thing can get me into the trans

Its woody base of gasiac wood

It was spray by lacy

It was played with my insanity

If i could i would have multi bans

It’s called invictus

When you smell it

You fall in love with it

It’s like smelling your first love 

For the first time.
