A Guide to watching the UtaPri anime

Seasons 1 and 2: Light, fluffy, cute garbage. Gags are good, but the ‘plot’ is honestly a disaster. Watch with friends so you can all mock this drivel together, because otherwise you will not be able to get through it.

Season 3: The show has started to figure out how to write some semblance of a compelling narrative. Still mostly light and fluffy, still ripe with opportunities for mockery, but you will find yourself starting to enjoy the actual content more.

Season 4: Nothing can prepare you for season 4. Your heart will be put through an industrial-grade meat grinder before it is done. Watching with friends is recommended, so that you can all sob together.
