This beauty and the beast retelling was amazing. The ahte to love relationship was very well done and the writing was so lyrical and beautiful. This book is mostly character driven and sticks quite close to the original fairy tale. All in all this was the best beautyband th ebeast retelling I've ever read.
I gave it 4.5 *
I hated this book. The writing was ok but the story itself was terrible. The abusive behaviour of the male main character was too much for me and the way the main character was made of paper and folded easily. I read until I couldn't take it anymore and I really shouldn't have. It stressed me out too much, every other sentence made me stop and try to regroup.
I gave this *1

I had no idea what to expect when I started reading this book, but it certaintly not what it was. This book felt a lot like a prequel, and it really took me out of my comfort zone and I enjoyed it. Its adult Sci-fi/Fantasy and follows various characters throughout a specific amount of time. The writing took me a little bit of time to get used, but after that, I really wanted to know what happened to the main characters. One little other problem I had with it was the introduction of a character that I would have wanted to know more of beforehand. Despite that though, book is a strong set up for the following books in the series.
I gave it 4*
can we send this post around the booklr community to help each other find more bookish friends? please? I really need some book lover friends in my life , and I’m sure you do as well .
I was viven this book by the author for an honest review. This book was kind a wild ride, with gods and demons and robots. Although this book was not the most original and some of the main characters were not very likable, it had a fast plot and a lot of action.
2.5 *
What a book. I have no word to describe what this book did to me. I loved every single moment of it. The characters, the plot, the setting, it's Cassandra Clare's, in my opinion, best book yet. And that ending, that heartbreaking ending left me dying to get the next book.
There's no doubt this is a 5* read.
