Ripoff, Homage, or Coincidence that the new North Brunswick Main Street center (home of another Target and Costco) have a strikingly similar logo to Streetlight Manifesto (smanifesto on tumblr) - a band whose origins are only 10 miles or so away.

Probably more of a coincidence than anything else. But seriously way to close. tisk tisk North Brunswick. You'll never be New Brunswick. (too petty?)

Google! Stop being so adorable! I just noticed that my little street view man has a soccer ball. Somebody's a World Cup fan over there. That was cute.

AND THEN! Oh, and then I noticed that when I'm in street view that I can travel back in time to see what it looked like. So cool.

But not nearly as cool when I noticed my soccer-playing street view buddy became non other than the Doctor Emmett Brown! Whaaaaaaat?? Google! Little presents!

Oh...facebook. You and I have such a love/hate relationship. And right now, it's hate. (but don't be mad, I still love you.)

Every so often I find myself defaulting to facebook when my mind wanders. When I don't want to be doing what I'm doing, I open a new tab and scroll through my feed. When I'm just sitting and watching Netflix, I click onto the app. I don't know why. I can't stop.

It's actually to a point where I get annoyed because my "friends" don't update often enough to give me new things to read. Honestly. It's bad.

So I disabled my account. again. I've done it before and it was great. Soooooo yeah. Sorry. I'll be back, but facebook can't be my default to entertain me or at least keep me busy. There are way better things to do.

Quick update: It turns out it's really hard to plan a wedding when you can't get in touch with your friends to either see how to spell their last names - or sometimes see what their first names really are - and ask for their address. So I'm back. And I've resigned myself to being addicted. But I didn't redownload the app. Compromise, you know?

My fiancé and were talking yesterday and from that conversation came an idea (what I think is brilliant) 1 minutes web series idea.

Take the toughest, manliest he-men you can find. Build them up in introduction. Then pluck one of their nose hairs out and record their reaction. Maybe in slow motion for affect. We’re estimating 93% of them shed a tear.

It doesn’t matter how tough you are. It’s involuntary and no amount of training can prepare you for that pain.
