The Mime knows she needs to play CAREFULLY with the Clown Prince of Crime, that any wrong move would render her lifeless and unable to find who had done her wrong. As things sat, she had been using J to learn more of the criminal network as well as give herself a NAME. . .but it was never all in vain. She had her own goals and aspirations, sure, but she was also looking for a place where she could be who she truly was. Strangely, she found solace with J, even though she hadn’t quite known him to the fullest. . .Perhaps she believed insanity to be the only thing honest in this world, and everything else she was exposed to just represented cinders of a life she had once desperately tried to live. A life that was taken from her.
Emerald hues watch him carefully as he takes the glass from her hands, and as it falls she doesn't even bat an eye to the shards scattering around her feet, rather it causes a gentle hum to escape her lips. Pale hues break away as she makes slow footfalls across the penthouse floor, her gaze now focusing on the Gotham skyline. As J speaks, she’d cease her motion, her gaze slowly drifting back.
“A test?” her porcelain visage tilts slightly, “What do you have in mind?” The Mime questions, her brows lifting in interest. She has faith in her ability---her LOYALTY----so she believes it will be rather simple. After all she had already shown she had cared for the man, granted it was to benefit her in the long run---she assumed that her little pop-quiz would be something to assure J that she was more trustworthy then Harley. Mime would accept the task, no matter how big or small, any step forward was in her favor.
