I hate to post this, but my best friend @vonclosen very suddenly suffered a stroke today and had to be rushed to the hospital, and later life flighted to another hospital because he has a blood clot in his brain.

They've been sick for 8 months at this point, trying to move out of their black mold infested home, hospitalised and unable to work for at least a month now, and were diagnosed with stage 3 (now seemingly stage 4) Lung Cancer just 2 weeks ago. And now the stroke on TOP of all this.

I'm incredibly scared for them and their partner with all that's been going on the past few months. Hell just the past few WEEKS even. They need as much help as they can get.

If anyone is able to PLEASE send a few dollars their way. The medical costs + living costs

i hate to make a post where i’m asking for money, but as some of my followers know, i’ve been sick with pneumonia now for about 3 months. i’m supposed to be graduating in about a week, but being sick has put me behind on a lot of coursework. my home is full of mold that is not helping at all. they don’t know for certain the source of my pneumonia, and after four rounds of antibiotics, it’s still not budged. i haven’t be able to go to work in weeks.

while i have a little money now, i know its not going to last—especially since my partner is having a dry spell in clients. we’re in a really, really rough spot. we need to move, pay our bills, and get groceries.

if anyone has anything at all to spare and if you like my meta posts on indigenous issues, i’d be beyond grateful. this year has been insanely hard.

hiii. so, bad news, i’ve mentioned this before, but it turns out it was not pneumonia. i have lung cancer. i’ve not been staged yet and im looking into my options at the moment (biomarker testing, immunotherapies, etc)

anything helps. i’m sorry to have such a bummer update. i really hope im okay and i hope for a speedy recovery. at the moment, im just really tired.
