((Giants was better than expected, for certain, but I really didn’t have high hopes. The instrumentals they had teased us with, in my opinion, didn’t really reflect what urban-style music is currently.

It felt mostly like a series of artists that were mashed together on a song, rather than a song that had been written. Like, each artist wrote their own verse without communication with anyone else on the song.

Overall I still feel like Pentakill was Riot’s biggest success musically, and not just because I’m a fan of metal. I also fuck heavily with rap and pop, and haven’t really given kpop any attention beyond maybe an hour of listening or so.))

((Headcanon time:

Warwick occasionally ventures into Piltover when he grows more confident in his strength, and, thus, his “territory” expands. As such, he’s probably seen in passing by some rather cowardly Pilties, who then spread rumors about a beast that prowls the alleyways of the linked cities.

In addition, nobody can seem to get any pictures of him, at least, not clear ones. They’re always a blurry or degraded photo.

Basically Warwick is a cryptid in a similar way to Bigfoot))

((I designed what I believe Warwick’s human appearance to look like. I wanted to actively make him not a pretty or conventionally attractive character, and keep elements of his gangster identity intact))

((So I’m researching Warwick in attempts to brush up on my Zaun histroy and character information in general. Takeaways so far:

Entirely possible Warwick had an adoptive daughter, who’s biological parents he killed

I’m 90% certain on this one, as one of the few reasons a gangster (like Warwick was pre-experiments) would stop that lifestyle is the sudden introduction of a child into their life

Less likely but still possible that this daughter was Jinx

This stems from his interactions with Jinx and Vi, along with various hints at Jinx and Vi’s origins possibly being that of Camille’s brother’s children, whom, to gain leadership of the clan Ferros, may have hired a gangster with no connections (LIKE WARWICK) to kill Jinx and Vi’s parents.

((If I do end up returning to this blog, I’m going to work on making Warwick’s character more than just “angry and tired wolf boy”, which is, I think, what I really fell into before my absence.

I’ve thought about it a lot, and I want to incorporate two major things

1. Warwick’s grief at being this monster that he’s been forced into, as well as the actions that he’s committed in this iteration of his life.

2. The slow degrading of man to beast-man to beast. There’s a saying that the body shapes the mind (or something like that), and I think that I would like to push that theme with Warwick, where he slowly loses his mind to the more primal instincts that have been given a kickstart with his transformation.
