started watching that SHY anime, and its good fun! its not anything revolutionary so far but it feels like someone mixed bocchi the rock and BNHA together and the result is a fun superhero story with an anxiety ridden female main character, female main supporting character, and a good amount of ladies in the supporting cast. As someone who hated how BNHA neglected its female cast it felt pretty refreshing to see a similar formula with a focus on ladies.

i also appreciate when a story gives me what i want. As soon as the brown haired girl sat down next to our mc at the end of episode 1 i was like ooh please let her become her best friend who knows her secret identity and has lots of gay subtext with her. well spoiler alert. she becomes her best friend who knows her secret identity and has lots of gay subtext with her. Its been four episodes and we've already had the dramatic sailor moon style rescue, a date, and the "she's the hero's source of strength that motivates her to get back up and keep fighting" scene. TWO gay as hell ed sequences, one for each of the girls, hell yeah. im here for it.
