Charles and Erik’s first time, early on in the recruitment road trip, when they can’t take the tension anymore and one of them just snaps and slams the other against a wall and they’re kissing and it’s perfect and intense and they both know that their lives are going to change forever, that this is not just any old hook up, and how important this is for the two of them, that they’ve found each other. And so Charles shirks off his jacket, starts unbuttoning his shirt, and Erik pulls off his turtleneck and Charles looks up at him and –

He lets out a hysterical giggle because have you ever seen someone’s hair after they remove a tight turtleneck sweater??? It’s sticking up everywhere and Erik looks all ruffled and now he’s scowling because what’s so funny, Charles, so Charles projects the image to Erik. And there’s a pause and Erik’s still scowling but then he slowly smiles and then he laughs, warm and deep and it’s the first time Charles has heard him laugh, the first time Erik’s heard himself laugh in years, and then he leans down and kisses Charles and they proceed to have fumbling, happy, giggly sex  (✿◠‿◠)
